Recent Purchases

My Last post was scheduled for yesterday but for some reason it didn't publish
so sorry about that.

I have mainly brought items this month from Superdrug and Morrisons
but also got a few things from one of the charity shops in town.

Superdrug Hot Cloth Cleanser With Muslin Cloth

I got this cleanser in Superdrug after I had done a
review of Tropics Cleanser and wanted to find a cheap alternative
for when I run out. Currently as of writing this post the cleanser is on offer
with £3 off at £2.99 instead of £5.99.

Calming Floral and Cooling cucumber masks

There is nothing better than sitting back and relaxing on a Saturday or Sunday evening
with a face mask on.  I have used Superdrugs masks a few times now and love that
they have a range of different ones for me to try out.
The Floral one I have used before and smells divine and makes me think of a
lovely summers day. The cucumber one I am yet to use and am looking forward to trying out.

Foundation and powder (not pictured)
I just brought my usual foundation which would be the third time I have brought it
me and foundation have a love hate relationship due to me having such pale skin.
I currently use Rimmel Match Perfect in Light Porcelain which is currently on offer with
£2 off making it £4.99 instead of £6.99.
As for my powder I normally use Mac but as it over budget for me atm I went
for a much cheaper alternative collection 2000 one which is £1.99

Morrison's Big and Beautiful Shampoo

I change my shampoo often but I have come back to this shampoo
as it works wonders at making my so fine hair look a bit thicker.
The packaging reminds me a little of Herbal Essence's shampoo's and
conditioners. But it works just as good at £1

As for my charity shop finds I found 2 things for the hubby

Wii silicon pack
When my husband brought he's wii console it was before the
remote came with a silicon case he had mentioned awhile back about buying one
but I had forgot until I spotted a pack in the charity shop for £1.

Mensa Brain Bogglers

3 mind boggling wooden puzzles my husband loves
things like this to keep him occupied  and he has mentioned
IQ's and Mensa a bit to me so when I saw this in the shop for £1.50
instead of £11.99 which you would get online or in other shops I just had
to get it for him.

What have you been buying recently?

  1. I'm not allowed to buy anything at the moment as I've given up spending for Lent, but well done on your charity shop bargains. I've been donating things rather than buying them, to mine.
