Our Christmas Traditions

There are so many exciting Christmas traditions to get involved in when you become a parent. 

Here are our Christmas traditions.
 Some we are waiting for Blake to be a little
older so he can understand and others are what we are planning to do or have done this year. 

- Christmas light switch on
- Visit Santa
- See some reindeer 
- Make Christmas cards/crafts
- Watch Christmas films
- Decorate the tree
- Listen to Christmas music
- Read Christmas books
- Christmas Eve basket you can see what's in Blake's here. 
- Sensory activity such as pretend snow

- Make or decorate and gingerbread house 
- Go to see a panto 
- leave out mince pie, milk and carrot for Santa on Christmas Eve
  - book advent 
- Scatter reindeer food 
- Put up Santa's magic key 
- Read the nativity story 
- Read the Night before Christmas on Christmas Eve 
- Special Christmas day breakfast
- Open a little present 
- Magic sleeping potion 
- Photo checklist
- Santa's footprints
- Christmas baking.

  2. Awww, lovely giveaway! I've entered.
    We have some of the same traditions, I really would like to do Elf on the shelf next year, that looks like great fun! I'm hoping to do some Christmas baking next week :D I'm sure my little's will like to "help" haha. xx

  5. You can never have too many Christmas Traditions in place i say and you've got some great ones mentioned here. Our new one for this year was a book advent calendar and next year i'm hoping to be a little more organised and do elf on the shelf! xx

  7. What an awesome giveaway, Christmas traditions are becoming more popular these days. With my family we always go to church on sunday and spend days leading up to Christmas together whenever we can. I am loving the list you've shared.

  9. Your traditions are lovely, we always see a panto at christmas and bake and this year we will be leaving 'magic dust' outside so Santa knows where to leave his sleigh. :-)x
