Autumn Activities

As I have mentioned many times before autumn/winter is my favorite season.
I have compiled a list of activities that we hope to get up to and if we don't do some than I have the list for next year.
- Go on a autumnal scavenger hunt ( collect things like different colored leaves, acorns, conkers, pine cones etc)
- Go for a woodland walk
- Make nature rubbings (This will better when Blake is a little older)
- Create Autumn leaf art
- Play autumn treasure memory game ( use the items you collected in the scavenger hunt)
- catch autumn leaves
- Make apple jam
- Have a movie afternoon
- Drink hot chocolate
- Toast marshmallows
- Make an apple crumble
- Make stews and casseroles in the slow cooker
- Make homemade soup
- Make an autumn tuff spot tray to explore
- Make a messy tuff spot pinterest has some fun ideas.
- Make mud pies
- Visit a farm
- Have an indoor picnic

Some great activities, I use to love going to look for different coloured leaves.

ReplyDeleteAutumn is my favorite season too, i love going for walks and taking photographs of nature and the amazing colours.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great post, I'm one of them people that as soon as the end of september is here all I can think about is autumn and christmas things to do. I'm not blogging about autumn activities but I am blogging every day in december so will have baking and craft posts about things I've done with my kids
ReplyDeleteOh these will be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to starting up the fireplace again and I do want to go on some nature walks.

ReplyDeleteAutumn is one of my favourite times of year as well! Great lit of things to do here, I love lighting all my candles around this time of year to make the place feel nice and cosy x
ReplyDeleteWe have been trying to go for as many walks as possible, but being pregnant has slowed that down a bit.

ReplyDeleteAh, now I want to make apple pie! LOL I would also suggest an outdoor picnic by taking warm food and wrapping it all up, grabbing a flask and getting all cosy. It is one of my favourite things to do in all weathers :)

ReplyDeletePopcorn! Used to be our favourite thing to do on a rainy afternoon - quick, cheap, tasty, and great fun to hear the corn popping.

ReplyDeleteI would actually love to try and make some jam on day this autumn. I am not really a fan of autumn or winter, because of the cold weather. My favorite activity in winter is drinking hot chocolate.
