Paperfight with Epson

Epson have recently launched their brand new EcoTank printer the ET-3600. To celebrate the launch they have a crafty competition which is ending today Friday 18th November 9pm.
The competition gives crafters a chance to use their creative and imaginative skills based on the ancient Japanese craft of origami. All you have to do is choose from one of the 5 papertoy animals on the paperfight website. Entrants are encouraged to get creative with colours, textures, props and backgrounds to create something different and unique. You then have to upload a photo to the website to be judged.

The winner will receive an ET-3600 EcoTank printer and goodie bundle and will be entered into the Paperfight grand final. The overall European winner will then also win the grand prize of a goodie bundle and an Epson EB-U04 projector, great for watching family movies at home.

They will also be giving away an exclusive Epson Paperfight T-shirts and kids’ DVDs in spot prize giveaways throughout the competition. All entrants to the competition will automatically receive a 15% off voucher code that can be redeemed on the Epson Store against any EcoTank product.

I'm not the best when it comes to crafts but I wanted to try giving a papertoy ago although I wont be entering into the competition myself. As I kind of expected here is my attempt below. It's pretty basic but I've never been really good at craft things like this and so I am pretty happy with my attempt. You have until 9pm tonight to enter so you still have  a bit of time.

Now onto the printer it'self the EcoTank ET-3600 is designed to make printing easier and more affordable. It automatically prints on both sides of a page helping to halve your paper usage. I think this is such a fab idea as I've not seen this feature on other printers I have come across, it makes sense to use both sides of the paper.

I love the sleek and classic look of the printer and it will go with all decor due to it being in classic black. It will look great in all homes whether you have an office or like us use a dinging table in our small living room.

What I also like is that the printer is suitable for those that print  high volumes frequently. As a stay at home Mum I love to print off activities I can do with Blake, we also use a printer for printing off tickets and other home documents that we refer to. I can see this as being a hugely popular printer if you work from home as it hassle free and low cost and suitable for everyday use.

Another relief is the ink cartridges no more running out of ink and having to pop out or order online. Due to the ultra-high-capacity ink tank system that eliminates the need for cartridges, freeing the user from cartridge purchases and replacements. In replacement of that you have 2 sets of high volume ink bottles which allows you to print off 11,000 pages in black and color. This means that it is extremely low cost as you will be able to print off more pages between refills.

As well as usual printing the Epson EcoTank ET-3600 has a copy and a scanner too, which I always find handy to have. I like to make copies of important documents without having to find time to go out to my local library.  What I am really excited about is that the EcoTank ET-3600 is also equipped with Wifi and Wifi direct. So no more having to transfer a document from my smart phone or tablet to my computer to print. The EcoTank ET-3600 can print it from my device instead. Last of all I am glad that it is high speed so there need to wait for too long for an item to be printed off If all of this doesn't make you feel at ease there is up to three years or 50,000 page Epson warranty.
