Clean Eating with Everdine

I sometimes find meal planning a pain to do, as It can be difficult to come up with healthy meal ideas. Stuart loves cooking however I don't so he does the cooking in household. From time to time though it is nice to not to worry about cooking up a healthy meal from scratch.

I was recently sent a box of meals from Everdine. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect with them since they are frozen meals. I was presently surprised with how they turned out.

Everdine is a subscription meal service that provide clean and wholesome frozen meals to your door. Each of the meals are made with the best ingredients with meat and fish that are sustainable sourced. Chefs Matt and Viresh are trained in Michelin-starred restaurants, and create unique, wholesome and delicious meals. The meals are then frozen to lock in their natural goodness with no need for artificial preservatives.

When it comes to signing up you get to pick your plan you can choose 8 or 12 classic or veggie meals to be delivered fortnightly. The great thing is you can choose which meals you would like, above are photos of 4 of the 8  delicious tasting meals we got to try out. The meals were delicious and unlike most frozen ready meals you could tell that they were fresh and were full of flavour and ready to eat in 10 minutes or under.

The boxes are a great size for fitting in your freezer and are easy to read as well as seeing what the dish inside looks like and how long to cook it for. I also like that when it comes to the subscription service it is easy to cancel or pause any time. These are great for eating on the go for example if you have a busy week coming up or will be working long hours and need to use your office microwave.

The plan works out that a box of 8 meals cost £55.20 which works out as £6.90 a meal with free shipping. I do feel that this is a bit pricey but when considering the cost of a takeaway you would probably end up spending more for one meal.

If you would like to give Everdine a try for yourself than click on the link below where you can get £25 off your first order. Everdine.co.uk

Enjoy!
