June #LittleLoves

June has been such a lovely month. We've had a birthday meal out with my family, a BBQ with Stuart's side of the family. My birthday/fathers day was a very relaxed and enjoyable day as we had arrived in Hayling Island for a week the day prior. Our time at Hayling Island just flew by and at one point we were tempted to stay away for another week however we had to think of Blake and his routine being out of sink. We've been blessed with gorgeous weather this month even when away and we arrived back to a heat wave.

Moving on lets get started on this months little loves.

Read

I can't believe how much I have read this month. It's a lot more than I was expecting, as I seemed to race through books the first two weeks of the month.

The Lying Game By Ruth Ware
For me I enjoyed this book more than the previous two I have read by Ruth Ware. It's a psychological thriller about four friends that are bound together by lies.

The child by Fiona Barton
This is the first book that I have read by Fiona and I found it to be one of those books you just can't put down. I definitely want to read more from Fiona Barton.

The Fear By C.L.Taylor
An intense thriller that kept me gripped. It's about Lou who was groomed by her karate teacher when she was 14 and now years later she finds him doing the same to 13 year old chloe meadows. She is determined to stop him from ruining Chloe's life like he did with hers. Unfortunately Mike is a lot more dangerous than she realised.

Keep you safe By Melissa Hill
Keep you safe is an issue driven book exploring "to vaccinate or not". 2 girls not vaccinated for MMR one due to an allergy another due to the parents beliefs. 2 little girls get Mealses, one little girl gets better quickly the other ends up in hospital fighting for her life.

It's always the husband by Michelle Campbell
I found the second half of the book to be more gripping and I loved the end as I didn't see it coming. There is a murder but as often the case will everyone assume its always the husband.

Breathe Magazine
I've loved issue 13 of the magazine and you can read my thoughts and some of my favourite features in the Magazine in my review post.

Currently reading:
The summer of impossible things by Rowan Coleman
I'm not much into The book yet however so far its gripping me and I have high hopes for this book.

Watched

13 Reasons why season 2
After having watched the first season last year i wanted to see what season 2 was like. I must admit it was very dark and understand why there are warnings before watching. I especially found the last episode to be very brutal.

The Letdown
I loved this show as its so relatable to us mums with the struggles of sleep and day to day life as mum and the support you need. I love that there is comedy thrown in with it too which makes it a lighthearted show.

Heard
I've listened mainly to 3 albums on repete this month.

James Bay
I loved his first album and now his second album Electric light

Christina Aguilera
I've been a fan of her music for such a long time now and I've been enjoying her new album liberation.

Snow Patrol
Their new album wildness is starting to grow on me.

Made
We made memories as a family. We had lots of fun on holiday where we enjoyed the beach, watching boats and a trip to a farm, gardens and country park where we saw piglets that had been born that morning and Blake finally had the confidence to feed a goat for the first time.

Wore

Blake got some new clothes this month for our holiday and we were sent a swim outfit from Splash About. The surfboard design looks so cute on him and he loved wearing it and playing in the pool.

One of my favourite outfits Blake wore on holiday has to be the hiwaan shirt and coral shorts outfit that I picked up in peacocks. Not only do I love the print but the outfit really suits him and he looks so grown up.

As for me I purchased this gorgous summery print top from yours clothing. I love the cold shoulder trend as I can show a bit of skin and feel comfortable.  I chose to suxe up as the length was better for me and althoughits baggy I've got loads of room in it which is handy especially during this heat wave.

And lastly...

I've got a What I got for my birthday post coming up next week. I know they are popular and I recieved some really lovely pieces this year so wanted to share with you to give some inspiration.
