Has anyone else felt pressure during the summer holidays to do loads and have exciting days out planned? It doesn't help seeing photos of what other parents have been doing splashed all over social media. I've found myself feeling guilty that we haven't done as many exciting things such as visits to the beach for example. In fact we've not even done crafts unless you count Blake having fun with his paint sticks. We have however had countless trips to the parks and met up with a few friends.
I've decided that I need to start focusing more on the lititle things in life. Hence why I've loved joining in with the little loves linky this year. So here are my little loves from August.
How To Be Happy By Eva Woods
An emotional, heart breaking and life affirming fiction. Definitely 100% reccomend getting a copy.
Breathe Magazine
My favourite articles include: Here comes the summer , keep your cool, embrace the positive messages and six positive practices.
Breathe Summer journal
A journal filled with beautiful art work and activities. Plus some great articles including meditation made easy , 10 things to do on a rainy day and what to read this summer.
Kicking the bucket list by Cathy Hopkins
A lovely read which some will find relatable was a bit repetitive in places but still found it enjoyable.
Bring me back by B.A.Paris
Another gripping thriller by B.A. Paris. If you have read B.A.Paris other thrillers you are sure to enjoy this one.
Orange is the new black
I've finally watched all 6 seasons and loved it! Found season 6 a bit strange though. If you've watched it what did u think?
Insatiable
This programe has had a bit of a backlash as people feel its fat shaming. I agree in some ways however I did enjoy the comedy side of it.
The innocents
This is a series I've only just started watching and I'm hooked. I definitely recommended this programe especially if you love supernatural programmes.

Heard
The calm app has been so helpful with relaxing music and different meditations to help me to relax. The anxiety one has been so helpful to ground me and I less anxious.
Made
We have Made a booking to go to Butlins in December. This is a treat to Blake as his birthday is in December and we wanted to do something else instead of a party.
I've also made a cake in mug which was delicious and wish I had photographed it.

Wore
I've been wearing two new maxi dresses this month which I was sent from fashion world. Out of the two this black floral patterned one is definitely my favourite. It's so comfy and flattering and I don't feel too self conscious in it.
And lastly...
I'm looking forward to the cooler months. Autumn is definitely my favourite time of year and I'm looking forward to wearing cosy jumpers and boots. Are you looking forward to Autumn?
