What a busy but fun month August has been.  We have made the most of the summer holidays together with days out etc. Blake goes back to school on the 6th so we still have a few more days to enjoy together. Here are the things that we have been loving this month.

Netflix:

Aftermath

Desperate to save their marriage, a young couple takes a deal and moves into their dream home, but disturbing events reveal the house's troubled history.

Tattoo redo

Top artists transform tattoo disasters into stunning cover-ups, with designs chosen by the clients' loved ones.

Gone for good

Ten years after losing the two people he loved most, a man finds himself plunged into another dizzying mystery when his girlfriend suddenly vanishes.

Sweet girl

He lost the love of his life to a pharmaceutical company's greed. Now his daughter is without a mother, and he's without justice. For now.

Disney +

This month I signed up to Disney + and so far have watched a couple of shorts float and loop.

DVD

Peter Rabbit 2

I preordered *Peter Rabbit 2 on DVD as I knew that Blake would really want to see it.

Gainsborough Old Hall
This month we decided to check out Gainsborough Old Hall, which is a preserved Manor house that is over 500 years old. The hall was built by Sir Thomas Burgh in 1460. The Burghs were rich, flamboyant and powerful people.

Kite flying
We headed to visit family mid month and one of the things we did while over that way was head to Dunstable Downs. It's a great countryside place for flying a kite and soaking up beautiful views.

Leighton Buzzard Narrow Gauge Railway
The Leighton Buzzard Light Railway is a light railway in Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, England. It operates on 2 ft narrow-gauge track and is just under 3 miles long. The line was built after the First World War to serve sand quarries north of the town.

The flowerpot pudding
One evening I went out with a friend for a meal and drinks plus a good catch up. We both went for this absolutely delicious and fun looking dessert. The whole thing is edible.

Dalmatian print sandles
Your going to notice a bit of a theme here. I've been loving animal print, dalmatian print in particular. The first thing I had to share were these sandles I picked up in Tesco. Not only do I love how they look but they are really comfy too.

Dalmatian print top
I absolutely love this Dalmatian print vest top that I got from yours clothing. I like to throw on a plain black jacket or cardigan with it if it's a bit on the chilly side.

Dalmatian print mug
This *Dalmatian print mug I got off Amazon actually comes as a set with a coaster that says dotty dog lady. I also have another Dalmatian print mug that I picked up from The Range which says Boss Babe.

Leopard print maxi dress
Keeping with the animal print theme this maxi dress caught my eye when I was looking on ebay and managed to get it  for just over a fiver. The label says it's George at asda but I'm not sure if you can still get it.

Corn holders
I love Corn on the cob but it can be hard to hold. I saw these cute *Joie corn holders and had to get them. How cute are the little faces.

*Tower Air fryer

We decided to finally jump on the band wagon and get ourselves an air fryer. We done quite a bit in it so far and it's definitely a game changer I love how roast potatoes turn out and homemade chips. We have been done jacket potatoes in there which have turned out the best we have been  able to do them.

When I spotted this book on Instagram I had to get it. If you have a child on the spectrum or your child knows someone who is than this is a must. It's such a great book explaining about autism in a child friendly way. Lori Leigh Yarborough also has other books such as for down syndrome and Cerybal Palsy.
