Violife | 100% Vegan Cheese

Ad/Gifted – The Violife Vegan Cheese range featured in this post was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own.

Over the past few months I've been adding more Vegan/plant based meals into my diet. I like having a few meals a week that 1are Vegan and there are alot more Vegan products to choose from in supermarkets. I was recently contacted to try out some of Violife's Vegan cheese products.

Violife are a range of vegan alternative to cheese products. They are free from dairy, preservatives, casein, lactose, gluten, nuts and soya. It is based on coconut oil and is fortified with Vitamin B12, which plays an important role in the metabolism of every cell in our bodies.

Whether you enjoy cheese sliced in your sandwiches, spread on your bagel, sprinkled on your pasta or melted on your pizza, Violife is the vegan alternative to cheese that tastes and cooks great! If you are trying Vegan cheese out for the first time please note, it does take a while to get used to vegan cheese as it is very different to cheese made from dairy products.

The five products from the range I've been sent are:

- Le Rond Camenbert flavour

- Smoky Cheddar flavoured slices

- Original flavour Grated

- Original flavour slices

- Epic Mature flavoured block

Personally for me the Le Rond Camenbert and the Smoky Chedder slices weren't to my personal taste however I've enjoyed the rest of the range I was sent. The slices I've been mainly using on top of a vegan burger and makes a great vegan cheese toasty.  I've used the grated on various meals including jacket potatoes and pasta bakes as it melts well. The epic mature block I've had with crackers or straight from the pack.

Violife have a vegan recipes section on their website where I'll definitely taking meal inspiration from as I love trying out new recipes. You don't have to be vegan either to enjoy their recipes you might want to add more veggies into your diet, or perhaps like me you’re looking to reduce your meat intake. I'm definitely going to buy some of the products again and look out in my local supermarkets to see what others they have available.
