Kind2 Shampoo and Conditioner Bars

Ad/Gifted – The Kind2 Shampoo & Conditioner bars featured in this post was gifted to me in exchange for this post. All thoughts are my own.

I try and make eco friendly choices where I can however there is always room for improvement. These 78 easy switches are a great start for those wanting to make a change. Awhile ago I started  using a shampoo bar, however since colouring my hair last year i went back to liquid shampoo and conditioners due to not knowing much about the suitability on coloured hair.

However recently the lovely Sue at Kind2 helped me out and I have learnt that all of Kind2 shampoo and conditioner bars are suitable for coloured hair. She also went further and helped me to find what the best shampoo and conditioner bars are suitable for me. My hair is fine and I live in a hard water area so she reccomend the rebalancing Shampoo bar and fragrance free conditioner bar.

If you are new to using shampoo and conditioner bars than you may find it takes a bit of an adjustment to get use to using a solid bar however they are really simple to use. You can read this handy guide on how to use shampoo and conditioner bars here

Shampoo Bar | The rebalancing one
This particular shampoo bar is suitable for those that live in a hard water area due to producing more foam than sulphate free ones. The shampoo bar contains Coconut oil, cocoa butter and macadamia oils, plus upcycled charcoal combined with the stimulating and clarifying properties of rosemary and mint. It smells really lovely and leaves my hair feeling soft, clean and shiny.

Conditioner bar | The fragrance free one
Containing coconut, macadamia and argan oils they are combined to create a light, yet powerful conditioner to nourish your hair, making it soft and shiny. Conditioner can be very heavy on your hair which makes hair get greasy more quickly. However with this conditioner bar I've found that not to be the case at all.  It's lightweight and still conditions my hair without that heavy feeling. For me I definitely need a conditioner with my hair being fine it tangles easily.

If you have been considering making the switch to shampoo and conditioner bars but are unsure about them then kind2 now do smaller sized bars called discovery bars which gives you the chance to see if they work for you.
