September has flown by and Blake had started to settle into year 3.  We are slowly getting back into a routine with regards to school drop off/pick up. Blake has been spending a few evenings a week outside playing with friends while we still have some days when it's not wet and dark outside. Anyway here are some of the things I've been loving this month.

Prime:
Sonic the hedgehog 2
We really enjoyed the first film and the second in my opinion is better. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove that he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns with a new partner, Knuckles, in search of a mystical emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.

Netflix
The Sandman
When the Sandman, aka Dream, the cosmic being who controls all dreams, is captured and held prisoner for more than a century, he must journey across different worlds and timelines to fix the chaos his absence has caused.

 The Scandle by Mari Hannah
I've not done a monthly what I've reads post as only read this book hence including it here. I've found I've just not been picking a book up as much as I had planned and the month has just gone.

When an young man is found stabbed to death in a side street in Newcastle city centre in the run up to Christmas, it looks like a botched robbery to DCI David Stone. But when DS Frankie Oliver arrives at the crime scene, she gets more than she bargained for. As detectives battle to solve the case, they uncover a link to a missing woman that turns the investigation on its head. The exposé has put more than Adams' life in danger. And it's not over yet.

Maple syrup lattes
I love pumpkin spice lattes this time of year but I definitely think maple syrup lattes are my new favourite that I've been having in Costa this month. I definitely reccomend giving one a try.

Lion tattoo
At the beginning of the month I had a new tattoo done on my thigh. I chose the lion for the meaning of strength and the semi colon for my struggles with my mental health. It took 2.5 hours to do but was totally worth it and I found it didn't really hurt either.

I've been using the face cream from Give Me Cosmetics recently which I love but needed to find a cheaper one. I chose Eclat as I love their face serum and so far I'm liking it. I probably don't need anti-aging however prevention is key.  I have very dry skin and so far this has been helping with keeping my skin feeling more hydrated.

Popsy Pyjamas
I love popsy dresses after wearing a few during the summer and now I'm loving their pyjamas. Not only do they have such gorgeous prints they are so soft and comfortable. They are great for those cosy nights especially as it's getting colder again.

*Days of the week clock
Whilst this clock is designed for those with dementia and Alzheimer's it is also great for helping teach children the days of the week. Although a bit on the pricey side it's actually really useful, especially for Blake to know what day it is so he knows when he goes to school, what day he has Cub Scouts etc.

Woodland Trust Owlet Woods
One weekend we headed out with friends to explore Owlet woods. We all enjoyed it, especially Blake so it's on our list of places to visit again. We still have lots more exploring to do as the time just flew by.
