Ad – review. I was sent the string lights in return for featuring however all thoughts are my own.
We were sent some warm white LED lights that are suitable for both indoor/outdoor use. These Christmas string lights are 40 meters long and have 300 lights! They don't have to be just used on your Christmas tree either. They can be used in a variety of places in and outside your home.
The LED lights are IP44 waterproof rated (protected against water spray from all directions). The outer protective layer of the light cord is made of a high quality PVC that can be bent to shape around trees, signs, furniture etc. They maybe small lights however they emit a soft and warm lighting to help you relax come the end of the day.
They are battery powered lights that take x3 AA batteries (not included) so from a safety aspect are ideal for if you have young kids/pets. It also means you aren't having to worry about finding the correct socket to match the plugs. As they are battery powered there is also less risk of them overheating and they also have a high energy efficiency compared to traditional incandescent ones. The automatic timer mode allows them to stay on automatically for 6 hours and automatically off for the following 18 hours in a 24-hour cycle.
With these string lights you also have the option to choose between 8 different modes. This is done by pressing the control switch that's on the plug. You can choose one of the 8 modes which include Combination, In Waves, Sequential, Slo-Glo, Chasing/Flash, Slow Fade, Twinkle/Flash, and Steady on. This is a great option to mix it up a bit.

Overall we are really happy with the string lights. We think the automatic timer mode is handy especially if you are forgetful like me. I like being able to switch up the way the lights are with the different modes although I have to be mindful with the more faster ones because of my epilepsy. They give a beautiful soft glow especially in the evenings giving our home that cosy feel. We haven't tried the lights outside so can't comment on how they are waterproof wise.
