MY GOALS FOR 2025

A new year is here and so as usual I've sat and planned my personal goals for the year ahead. I've set out goals that will challenge me, but are also achievable.

Read 75 books
Last years goal was 65 and I managed to get through 72. So I've decided to up my reading goal this year, and see if I can get to 75 by the end of 2025.

Read at least one full series
One of the book series I own is ACOTR which I want to get through this year. If I only get through that series I'll be happy. However I do have a few others I want to try and get through aswell, so we will see.

Complete a reading challenge
I think I'm going to make up my own challenge this year using inspiration from others I've come across.

Refresh the house
Declutter especially in the attic, refresh the paint on the walls and over all just get a bit more organised. This is more a joint thing for both Stuart and I to get done together this year.

Continue to grow my emergency fund
I feel this is so important as you don't know what's around the corner. I like the idea of having some funds to fall back on in an emergency.

Use Cashback more
I started using Cashback apps Everup and Jamdonut after the summer holidays and had made £50 on Cashback over all. This year I'm challenging myself to make £100 by the end of 2025 in Cashback alone.

Continue with budgeting and saving
I used a budgeting planner last year which also has a section to track my spending. I'm doing the same this year as its been so helpful for managing my money. As for saving as well as my emergency fund I've mentioned I plan to continue to put money away into sinking funds.

Days out
I want to explore more places we've yet to visit as well as return to places we've enjoyed such as York. The summer holidays tend to be the best time for us to do this.

Be more social
I'm wanting to attend more groups this year and hopefully make some new friends.

Enjoy more experiences
I feel it's important this year to focus more on experiences than things especially when it comes to gifts for each other.

Solo dates
I'm wanting to spend more time doing things by myself. This is to also get out of my comfort zone a bit more such as going to the cinema or eating a meal out by myself.
