You are probably aware by now for my love of adult colouring as a hobby. I absolutely love my *Decotime alcohol markers however I feel that they don't have enough skin tone shades. So I recently took to Amazon and found these *CeleMoon skin tone alcohol markers.
There only seems to be Amazon reviews on them as far as I've seen. So I thought I'd do a full review on them. The set of 36 skin tone alcohol markers cost me around £15. I opted for them as I didn't want to pay too much since I already have a wide range of other alcohol markers and these are reasonably priced.
Do the CeleMoon skin tone alcohol markers bleed through the page?
Yes, like all alcohol markers they will bleed through pages. So as always, I recommend using with colouring books that aren't double sided and to use card under the page you are colouring to prevent bleeding onto other pages.
How well do the CeleMoon skin tone alcohol markers blend?
I feel that they don't blend as well as the Decotime alcohol markers, however they dry quickly and stay wet enough to still blend. The set does also come with a colourless blender pen which works well with blending the colours.
Are the CeleMoon skin tone alcohol markers refillable?
No these are not a refillable set.
What are the CeleMoon skin tone alcohol markers dual tips like?
Unlike the Decotime alcohol markers I have, the CeleMoon markers don't have a brush tip. Instead the set comes with one end a chisel tip and the other a fine tip. The chisel tip side is ideal for wider strokes and larger colouring areas.
My overall Impressions on the CeleMoon skin tone alcohol markers
First of all there is a great variety of skin tone shades within the set. It was great to see that as well as the 35 skin tone alcohol markers that a colourless blender is included in the set. For £15 I feel that the markers are reasonably priced. I like that they come in a bag to keep them all together and that like Decotime alcohol markers the colours are numbered. There is also a card included for testing the colours out on which is very handy.
My only dislike of them so far is the chisel tip. I much prefer using brush tip markers for colouring larger areas. This said I'll still be using them and hopefully will get to use to it with practice. If I do purchase any further markers I'll definitely be making sure that they come with a brush tip. It would also be great to see if Decotime come out with their own skin tone alcohol marker set.
