Christmas Gift Guide: For The Home

For my first gift guide for Christmas 2014 we have some items for the home which I feel
would make some great presents for loved ones this Christmas.
There are accessories that are suitable for all over the home.

Starting off I recommend the lovely Heat-Holders Snuggle Blanket.
You may have read my little review here
This blanket is perfect for keeping warm on cold nights.
I've been using mine whilst snuggling up on the sofa.

For the candle lovers we have AromaWorks Yin Candle.
This candle comes in  3 sizes small, medium and large.
The candle combines the beautifully relaxing top notes of exotically floral Ylang Ylang and fruity May Chang with heart notes of Geranium, which all bring a sense of calm. The wonderfully rich, woody scents of Patchouli and Sandalwood balance out this blend giving it a sumptuous, warm, spicy base.
The candle can be used on its own or with the Yang candle that you can also purchase.

If you know a hot chocolate lover than they are sure to love this engraved glass hot chocolate mug from Getting Personal.
I love having hot chocolate as a daily treat for myself and what's better than serving my delicious treat in a glass mug just like from my favorite coffee shop.
You can personalize the mug with name of the recipients which appears above a stylish design of a steaming mug and "Hot Chocolate" written in old school font.
The mug can be personalized with the name of your choice up to 12 characters you
can even see a preview of how the design will look like on the website.
Another great thing is that the mug is dishwasher safe and reinforced so you wont burn yourself.

Heat-Holders Snuggle Blanket

The weather has been really temperamental recently, one minute warm the next cold.
I am glad to have received the all new snuggle ups thermal blanket.
The blanket is ideal for snuggling up and keeping warm.
The snuggle up blanket is a thermal luxury soft fleece blanket that is 180cm x 200cm
that comes in two colors antique silver and moon rock.

The Blanket is a good size meaning you can snuggle up in front of the fire with
a hot drink and your partner.

The blanket has an official tog rating of 1.6 and is incredibly soft and easy to look after, as it is fully machine washable.

With heating prices soaring snuggle up with Heat- Holders Snuggle Blanket and keep warm.

Baby Haul #3

I love showing you our baby hauls we have got more items this week and
Stuart is planning on ordering some bits from Amazon for our little one at the weekend.

So this week we have brought:

Boots Baby Safety Kit, £12.99

We chose this kit so that once we have it all sorted we know
what extras we will need to buy.
I know we will need a lock for the washing machine, oven and dishwasher
as well as cord safety locks as all rooms in our home have blinds minus the bathroom and kitchen.

We also got this gorgeous outfit set in Boots which I forgot to mention in my last haul.
It has a sleep suit, vest and bib for £10.
We chose to get it in 0-3 months and near enough have all neutral bits we need in that size now.
The bib says "Just Perfect".

As mentioned in my last haul I ordered a wet bag
as I am planning use cloth nappies.
We went for this lovely bright giraffe, duck, elephant and frog design.
I love it! It has two pockets so that you can keep clean and soiled nappies
separate. I paid £2.99 with 99p shipping from Amazon.

We went to Milton Keynes shopping at the weekend just gone as Stuart needed to get some new shirts for work.
So I asked him if we could go to the MKOne  park and pop into Primark.

I managed to get a few bits for me ready for my hospital bag but also got this
lovely fleece blanket for £4.

I also managed to persuade Stuart to let us look in Asda since its not too far away from Primark
and as I know they have their baby and toddler event on still we picked up some lovely bits.

The Tommee Tippee Closer to nature soothers which are suitable 0-6 months was on our list
of things to buy. I have a pack already that came with a set I brought we chose to get another lot
since soothers easily go missing.

We spotted these 10 pack of bibs for £3 they had them in just plain white or with a bit
of color and Stuart thought it be nice to have ones with a bit of color.

We saw this Winnie the Pooh sleeping bag and fell in love.
We have found that sleeping bags tend to cost quiet a bit of money but at £13
this one was one we couldn't pass up on.
I think if we buy any more we will try ebay in the future as most I seem to have found cost brand new £20 +.

Last of all we got this little pack of 3 sleep suits for £7.
We chose to get the newborn size.
We love how one of the sleep suits says "Little and Cute".

What do you think of my recent haul?
