Blake's Special Christmas Baubles

One thing I love about Christmas since having Blake is
being able to enjoy the build up to Christmas with him.

In November I booked to take Blake to a craft shop where we got
to have lots of fun making this Christmas bauble and
a present for Daddy, shh.

The bauble is ceramic and I got to choose which colors to go for with our design and I decided that his hand print had be a festive red.
Once we had got a print of his hand I got to draw and paint on what I wanted which
was cute little holly.

I wrote on the back of the bauble
Blake Christmas 2015.

All I had to do then was wait a week to collect it when it had been dried and glazed.
It's definitely something I would love to do again with him.

Have you made any special Christmas decorations this year?
I'd love to know comment below.

  1. I always think the best Christmas Trees are the ones decorated with ornaments that bring back memories. This one will certainly do that in the years to come.

  4. We have done a handprint decoration every year since Monkey was born, although I think first time round we used his feet as he was only 6 months. Ive not arrange to do ours yet this year - which I must do otherwise we won't get it back in time! Thanks for the reminder x

  11. I've literally just put my eldest one of these on the tree. It's such a lovely momento but I'm terrified it'll fall off. Wish it was plastic.

  18. We had a special bauble bought for us last year to mark my daughter's first Christmas but sadly, when we got it out of the loft at the weekend, it was broken. I'd like to make one like Blake's as a replacement. It's a lovely idea.
