Celebrating my 26th birthday!

On Friday (June 17th) I turned 26, I wanted to share with you a few photos from my day.
I had a lovely birthday full of cake and food just as it should be.

The evening before my birthday Stuart and I went out for a lovely meal at a place called Mama Rosas which is a lovely Italian restaurant in Leighton Buzzard. The food was amazing and the portions were huge so a lot of food was left over. We both went for pasta dishes and mine was just amazing. The pasta dish I went for was filled with salmon and cod with cheese and is definitely the best pasta dish I've ever had.

My birthday  morning started with opening cards and presents which I am very thankful for.
My sister got me some new books two from Giovanna Fletcher which I can't wait to get stuck into. I got some DVDs I had wanted for awhile from Blake (with Daddy's help) so I'm also looking forward to getting the chance to watch them. The rest of my presents were money and a voucher.

Once we had breakfast we headed out to Milton Keynes to look around the shops. I've been wanting to get one of the Urban Decay Naked palettes for ages and picked up the naked2 with some of my birthday money. It was very hard to choose which one I went for as I love the look of the other 3 naked palettes in the range too. I also popped into Cath Kidston and picked up a cute Pomegranate and Cassis candle which was in the sale £20 down to £12.
It smells very similar to the Jo Malone Pomegranate Nior candle I own which was why I went for it.

Once we had finished looking around the shops we headed home and grabbed one of the Indian takeaway bags from Morrison's for dinner and then enjoyed a slice or two of birthday cake. So that was my day i still have a bit of birthday money left to spend as well as the voucher I've got so when I find a moment I'll be doing a bit of online shopping.
