Living Arrows - 26/52

You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” by Kahlil Gibran

The weather this past week has been extremely hot and we have struggled with it. On Wednesday it was my mother in laws birthday and so we spent the morning in my in laws garden. Blake loved being in the pool, splashing around and keeping cool.

Saturday we went to see In the night garden live in Richmond, London. The showdome was in Old Deer Park and we had a wonderful time. I have a post coming up during the week about the show. I really love this photo of me and Blake whilst we were waiting to go in. Blake was so excited and clapped all the way through the show.

I hope you have all had a lovely week and have been enjoying the sunshine.

  2. Be enthusiastic about the language yourself. If your child sees you reading, watching films and speaking in English, they will be inspired to do the same. Actively involve yourself in your child’s English learning experience, rather than expecting them to study on their own. Giving your child lots of praise, encouragement and support will increase their self-confidence and motivation.

  12. SO nice to have a big paddling pool. Ours is tiny, but then we have to fill it from next door's tap or via buckets
