Although we have only been married for 6 years now Stuart and I sometimes talk about one day renewing our wedding vows. It's something that we would love to do in probably 10/15 years time.
Even though that is awhile away I love the idea of going abroad to do it and my dream destination would be the Seychelles. The Seychelles tends to be a place that you hear often as being someone's dream destination for a honeymoon , so of course it probably sounds like a typical place for couples to renew their wedding vows as well.
The Seychelles is definitely a place we could only dream of visiting, as its no way going to be affordable for us , unless we win the lottery that is!
It may be a typical dream destination but hear me out about why this would be the dream destination for me.
The weather
On our actual wedding day we had snow and it was so bitterly cold. So if we were to renew our vows the Seychelles is a great destination as it offers Sun and warmth with temperatures remaining between 24°C and 32°C.
Breathtaking views
Waking up to views of emerald lagoons lapping sugar soft sand and swaying palm trees that cascade over the water is like a dream come true. Also imagine how amazing all your photos would be.
Loads to see and do
While over there it would be important to us to make the most of it. With walking and hiking trails, island hopping, shopping, beach life and cultural events, there’s plenty of choice. From diving and sailing to golf and horse-riding, island beauty can be enjoyed at every turn. For finding culture and society than you can njoy the many displays of folklore, traditions, cuisine and more.
When we got married we actually didn't get a honeymoon and so if we ever do renew our vows than a week away to Koh Samui would be amazing! Of course staying in a wonderful hotel is a must and you can check them out here. Koh Samui is the third largest island just off the east cost of Thailand. With idyllic beaches, where golden sands meet the turquoise Gulf of Thailand this is a perfect destination for a honeymoon ,romantic break and even a family holiday.
