Review: Wax Lyrical Celebration Candle

Wax Lyrical was established in 1980 and is now one of the UK’s largest Home Fragrance manufacturers with all products manufactured in Cumbria, England.I am a huge fan of candles and love brands such as Yankee and trying out different brands especially luxury ones.
Wax Lyrical use high quality wax to ensure a clean burn and maximum fragrance.Their  jars are a wonderful way to fill your home with fine fragrance. Available in a range fragrances and are a stylish addition to any room in your home.

The Candle Jars come in a variety of sizes and styles; each jar comes complete with a removable lid to keep the fragrance fresh,
perfect to create a mood for any occasion.

The candles were sent in a very well packaged box to avoid breakage. I waited not very long for delivery at all and received excellent service by
Wax Lyrical.

As you can see from their stock photo Wax Lyrical's candles look very luxurious and are presented in a glass jar with a lovely stainless steel lid.

I received the small Celebration candle from their range
which retails at £8.50 they also sell  other sizes medium and large
and also one that comes in a tin.

You can see on their website that Wax Lyrical provide loads of different scents so there is bound to be something for everyone.

Their small jar candles burn time is approx 35 hours and are approx 7.5cm x 7.5cm x 9.3 cm. in size

This is what they say about the Celebration Candle

"Let the celebration begin with the familiar sound of corks popping, as joy and laughter fill the room. The sparkling accord of green apple, pear and tangy white wine blended with base notes of musk create the perfect celebratory fragrance.

Inject some stylish ambience to any room in your home with the simple design of this contemporary small candle jar with silver Wax Lyrical embossed lid. Only the highest quality wax has been used to ensure a clean burn and maximum fragrance throw."

I was blown away at the scent of apple, pear and tangy white wine, and has totally got me
into the Christmas spirit.

Not only to Wax Lyrical sell a lovely range of candles but they also sell a range of reed diffusers and home fragrance products.

I will be adding some of their candles to my Christmas and new year wish list.

So have you tried Wax Lyrical candles yet?
If not will you?

Review: Aspire Calorie Burning Drink

I've heard of Aspire Calorie Burning drink for sometime now. I have been eager to try it and see if it works. I contacted the people over at Aspire and they sent me a weeks supply (14 cans)

The calorie burning drink is said to burn up to 209 calories per can, which is proven during controlled lab tests.

The Cranberry flavoured soft drink also contains natural ingredients, Green Tea, Ginger an Guarana.

It is believed that the ingredients can
assist in raising your body's metabolism
and suppressing appetite.

Each can contains the caffeine of the same
equivalent as a cup of coffee, and is only
12.5 calories per can.

My thoughts:

First of all I want to say that I love the design of the can but feel it is girly so is only aiming the drink for women but am sure men would love to have this too.

The taste wasn't too bad to start with a bit bitter but over the period of the week I became to like the taste much more.

Now as for its weight loss benefits I lost a couple of lbs but then become ill with a bad cold and ate loads of crap so ended up putting on weight :(

I feel that If I was able to stick to a healthy diet and exercised wel then this product would really work.

Fancy giving it a go?

It can be purchased in Holland and Barrett, Selfridge's and some Waitrose stores.
RRP:£1.50 per can
