This week Blake turned six. Due to the current situation with the pandemic we couldn't have a party or see family however he got to open his presents before school and then when he got home he got to see family members via video chat.
We chose to do McDonald's for his birthday tea as it's Blake's favourite and we've not had it that much this year. He loved being able to his best friend and have chocolate birthday cake too.
He broke up from school on Thursday ( day after his birthday) so he's loved having his new toys out to play with. He was definitely spoilt as usual with such wonderful gifts and has some money and vouchers to spend. We tend to take him to a toy shop after Christmas so that he can choose what he wants to buy. It gives us a chance to see what he gets for Christmas first so we don't end up with him choosing something that someone has already got him.
