HOPPY EASTER TREATS WITH SWIZZELS

*AD - Hoppy Easter Treats is a paid post in collaboration with Swizzels.

With Easter only a few weeks away I decided to get organised early. It's likely we will still be in some kind of lockdown like last Easter but it doesn't mean we can't have fun. Instead of focusing on the things we are missing out on I'm coming up with things we can still enjoy like getting Blake involved in making nest cakes, an egg hunt in the garden, fun games and activities.

Each year I do an Easter basket for Blake filled with things to keep him busy over the Easter weekend. This year I've opted for a gift bag as I can fit more bits in for him and add some sweets too.

Swizzels is one of Britain's favourite sweet brands - they are over 90 years old. They do such a wide range of unique and personalised sweet gifts suitable for all occasions. They also have vegan and vegetarian options available too so that everyone can get enjoy the Swizzels brand of sweet treats. You can buy from the Swizzels online shop or have a browse. We found delivery to be quick too.

As well as some delicious Swizzels sweets in Blake's gift bag I chose some other fun bits that I thought I'd share with you especially if you are in need of some inspiration.

'We're going on an egg hunt' is a new Easter book I picked for Blake. He is obsessed with 'We're going on a bear hunt' and although this one isn't written by the same author it does however follow the same sort of concept but with finding eggs within the book and spotting spring animals along the way.

I also got some bunny ears! I'm not sure how long Blake will wear them for but I thought it was a great idea to have some.

How cute is that wind up chick toy! Blake is sure to love it. They have been looking after eggs in class at Blake's school and the other day they hatched and I've been told he has absolutely loved seeing the little chicks.

I picked up this fun grass heads set for Blake to do as well as it looks a simple and fun spring activity to do together. Blake is really into this kind of thing and has had many plant sets before that he has loved doing.

The Easter popstick puppets look fun to do and you get 3 different designs in a pack to make. We actually have a set of monster ones that Blake likes so know he will love these easter ones.

Stickers are always a hit with kids so I got him some Easter themed foam stickers. The rabbit ones are my favourite from the pack, how cute are the faces!

Last of all there are another two fun looking craft kits. The foam craft chick and egg design looks simple and something Blake can most likely do by himself. The bead art set is something Blake and I can do together. He loves things like this that he can concentrate on.

So that's everything we are putting in Blake's Easter gift bag this year. What are your favourite Swizzels sweets? Both Blake and I love the Drumstick lollies and squashes.
