Ad - We were gifted the 2 person movie box for the purpose of this review. - All thoughts are my own.
We are currently in Isolation due to Blake being in contact with a covid positive case at school. So the movie night box we received from Razzle and Dazzle store came at a great time.
When having to stay home it's incredibly hard with Blake to keep him occupied. This is especially so as he prefers being outside so other than playing in the garden, we have to come up with fun things for him to do.
A movie afternoon with Blake was a big hit, especially as we had treats to enjoy too. Blake has got into enjoying movies over the last year and now will sit through a movie start to finish with us. We've yet to take him to the cinema but I wanted to give him the chance to have a bit of the cinema experience at home.
We were sent a movie box for 2 which arrived quickly and was beautifully packaged. The box contained the following:
- 2 x popcorn boxes
- 2 x packets of microwave popcorn
- 2 x ice-cream cartons with spoons (ice-cream not included)
- 1 x bag of sweet treats: chocolate beans
- 1 x bag of sweet treats: chocolate-covered cinder toffee
- 1 x bag of sweet treats: jelly beans
- 1 x bag of ice cream toppers: mini-marshmallows
- 1 x bag of ice cream toppers: white snowies
- 1 x bag of ice cream toppers: oreo crumbs
Blake loves ice-cream, he does usually prefer it with no toppings. However he saw mine (above) and decided that he wanted the oreo crumbs on his. He pretty much ate the oreo crumbs before the ice cream but he enjoyed it so much he asked for more.
We had clotted cream ice cream but the toppings will go with pretty much any flavour. I loved that there are three different toppings to use in the box so you could have all of them together or separately. Portion wise you could definitely get a good few ice creams using them.
The sweets are absolutely delicious our favourites were the chocolate covered cinder toffee and the chocolate beans. I'm not a huge fan of jelly beans and neither is Blake so the hubby is happy to have some sweets all to himself since he didn't opt for ice cream.
I love how the sweets and ice cream toppers are beautifully labelled. The ice cream pots and spoon definitely gave it that cinema feel and the toppers are a great addition.
In the package you get 2 different flavours of popcorn - buttered and salted. All you have to do is put them in the microwave for a few minutes before putting them into the popcorn boxes. The popcorn boxes definitely give a cinema experience vibe.
Blake tried popcorn for the first time and unfortunately wasn't too keen which left more for Stuart and I to enjoy. Although Blake wanted to pose with the popcorn and show off his cheeky grin.
I fully recommend the movie box from Razzle and Dazzle store. You can purchase a 2 person box or a 4 person box. There are also some other great looking kits, I've got my eye on the camping treats box next.
