2021 READING CHALLENGE | WHAT I'VE READ IN SEPTEMBER

This month has been about getting us all into the new school routine and Blake has settled in so well. I've not picked up a book as often as I would usually as we've been spending the evenings out the front with one of our neighbours quite a bit while the weather has still been ok. Like last month I've read 3 books, 4 uf you count my current read.

You and me on vacation by Emily Henry

I had to fit one more summery read in before it started to get into the throws of autumn. Back in July I read Beach Read by the same author, as I really enjoyed it I had to pick up her new book.  I did actually prefer this one over Beach Read.

TWO FRIENDS

TEN SUMMER TRIPS

THEIR LAST CHANCE TO FALL IN LOVE

Notes on a nervous planet by Matt Haig
I absolutely love Matt Haigs books and this is one of his I do wish I had read much sooner! This particular read is one of his non fiction reads. Notes on a Nervous Planet is a personal and vital look at how to feel happy, human and whole in the 21st century.

Just my luck by Adele Parks
It’s the stuff dreams are made of – a lottery win so big, it changes everything.

For fifteen years, Lexi and Jake have played the same six numbers with their friends, the Pearsons and the Heathcotes. But then, one Saturday night, the unthinkable happens. There’s a rift in the group. Someone doesn’t tell the truth. And soon after, six numbers come up which change everything forever.

Lexi and Jake have a ticket worth £18 million. And their friends are determined to claim a share of it.

The Switch by Beth O'leary
This is my current read and so far I'm really enjoying it.

Leena is too young to feel stuck.
Eileen is too old to start over.
Maybe it’s time for The Switch…
