2022 READING CHALLENGE | WHAT I'VE READ IN JANUARY

Reading wise I've made a great start into my goal of reading 70 books this year. I've read five books this month two of which are fairly short reads and are non fiction where the remaining three are fiction.

The Little Book of Sleep by Dr Nerina Ramlakhan

I was disappointed with this read tbh. Some of the information was useful but alot of the information and tips mentioned in this book are things that are well known.

Live Well Every Day by Dr Alex George
An OK read it wasn't mind blowing and alot of the information contained in this book is pretty much common sense stuff. Some of the information was useful though and it was great to see a chapter on mental health included.

Run Away by Harlan Coben
Definitely one to read if you are a fan of Harlan Coben. Run Away is such a gripping read with twists and turns throughout. Your daughter is missing. You'll risk anything to find her. You see her frightened and clearly in trouble, you approach her, beg her to come home. SHE RUNS. You follow her into a dark, dangerous world where no-one is safe and murder is commonplace. NOW IT'S YOUR LIFE ON THE LINE...

The Authencity Project by Clare Pooley
Such a lovely feel good read that touches on friendship and on how other people's  lives aren’t always what they make them out to be.

What would happen if they told the truth instead?

Julian Jessop is tired of hiding the deep loneliness he feels. So he begins The Authenticity Project – a small green notebook containing the truth about his life. Leaving the notebook in a cafe he never expects that the owner will try and track him down or that she is inspired to write down her own story. Little do they realize that such small acts of honesty hold the power to impact all those who discover the notebook and change their lives completely.

Grown Ups by Marian Keyes
A book that features the messiness and complexity of life. Grown Ups touches on many subjects including: infidelity, addiction, body image, grief, jealousy and on Irelands treatment of refugees.

MEET JESSIE, CARA AND NELL.

Married to brothers Johnny, Ed and Liam Casey.

Three very different women tied to three very different men.

Every family occasion is a party - until the day the secrets spill out.

PLAYTIME IS OVER.

BUT WHERE ARE THE GROWN-UPS?
