2023 READING CHALLENGE | WHAT I'VE READ IN JULY

I've managed to get myself through another 6 books this month! 3 were for book tours which I'll link below incase you missed them. There are quite a few that I gave 5 star ratings on over on goodreads.

This child of mine by Emma-Claire Wilson

This was one of my 5 star reads for the month. This was emotional and heartbreaking read with such an intense situation for the main character. Stephanie finds out she is pregnant and has cancer at the same time. Decisions need to be made does she accept treatment and loose her child or wait for treatment after her child is born and risks herself. You can read my blog tout post here.

The Highlanders Bridal Bid by Nicole Locke

Another 5 star read. The Highlanders Bridal Bid is a historical fiction/ romance. The story tells of how Cameron trys to win Anna's heart and prove to her she is more than just a bet. Spot on the blog tour can be read here

Turning the world to stone by Kelly Evans
Vilified by history, Caterina Sforza learned early that her life was not her own. Married at age ten, she was a pawn in the ever-changing political environment of Renaissance Italy. It's a story of bravery, courage, strength as well as hope. Blog tour post is found here.

As old as time by Liz Braswell
Beauty and the beast is my favourite Disney film and it goes without saying that I loved this retelling. In As old as time Belle's own mother is the one that cursed the beast. When Belle touches the Beast's enchanted rose, memories flood through Belle's mind — memories of a mother she thought she would never see again. And, stranger still, she sees that her mother is none other than the beautiful enchantress who cursed the castle and all its inhabitants.

Shocked and confused, Belle and the Beast will have to unravel a dark mystery about their families that is 21 years in the making.

Once upon a dream by Liz Braswell
In once upon a dream, we discover what happens if sleeping  beauty doesn't wake up from the Princes kiss as he falls asleep too. Princess Aurora must escape from a dangerous and magical land created from her very own dreams. With Maleficents agents following every move, Aurora needs to discover who her true friends are and, most importantly, who she really is.

Part of your world by Liz Braswell

Part of your world tells the story of what happened if Ariel didn't defeate the sea witch Ursula. Ariel is now the voiceless queen of Atlantica, while Ursula runs Prince Eric's kingdom on land. But when Ariel discovers that her father might still be alive, she finds herself returning to a world--and a prince--she never imagined she would see again.
