2023 READING CHALLENGE | WHAT I'VE READ IN SEPTEMBER

I've managed to get through five books this month. I do wish I had got round to reading more of my summer reads but they will be read another time now.

Operation Sunshine by Jenny Colgan

This was the only book I read whilst on holiday. I was very disappointed as I thought I'd enjoy this one much more than I did. It took me awhile to get through which is why I couldn't get to my other summer reads I'd planned.

Your child is not broken by Heidi Mavir
This book is absolutely brilliant and a must read for those who have a neurodivert child. It's so relatable and easy to read with such an honest account of what is like to be a parent of a child with autism. This is not a book full of facts and figures but an insight into the struggles and experiences from a parents point of view.

Things we do for love by Vered Neta
A book that explores family dynamics and personal growth. Things we do for love was a bit of a slow read for me as it took me awhile to click with the characters. You can read my review here.

The Highlanders Unexpected Bride by Nicole Locke
The Highlanders Unexpected Bride is book 2 of the Lovers and Highlanders series. My book tour post can be read here and if you enjoy romance and also historical fiction this is one to read. It does work fine as a standalone novel however I think i enjoyed it more having read the first book of the series.

Only for Christmas by Tracy Corbett
My blog tour post for this one is tomorrow, so definitely look out for it. I loved this festive romance and it's one to read if you love both romance and the Christmas season.
