The Christmas Tag

I recently came across the Christmas tag over on Becky's blog Milk Bubble Tea and had to join in. 

1. What is your favorite Christmas Movie/s?

It's very hard to pick just the one I love Miracle on 34th street, Elf and The Snow Man to name a few.

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

Christmas morning although we use to open one little present on Christmas Eve which we decided we wont do anymore though. 

3. Do you have a favorite Christmas memory?

Waking up in the morning as a child and having a sack of presents at the bottom of my bed. 

Then going downstairs and getting to open even more presents. We always used to have chocolate

for breakfast and my Nan and Grandad from my mum's side would come over for Christmas dinner and stay late

into the evening. 

4. favourite festive food?

Mince pies, Turkey, roast potato's, cranberry sauce and my mum's homemade bread sauce. 

5. Favourite Christmas gift ?

It would have to be my cuddle toy Tom cat (from Tom and Jerry) which my Nan and Grandad 

got me for my 1st ever Christmas when I was 6 months old. I still have him tucked away. 

6. Favourite Christmas scent?

Christmas dinner and mulled wine

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

Not really it's something we will be doing though we plan to start making traditions for little one from

next Christmas. 

8. What tops your tree?

My parents always had an angel but when I moved in with Stuart we wanted to have star on top of the

tree unfortunately the tree we have wont keep any star on top. 

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

Not really sure am sure it was something really expensive that parents couldn't afford. 

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?

Spending time with my family, eating way too much food and just having fun. 

Summer Tag

Summer is here and we have had such lovely weather this week which has meant

I have spent my days in a strappy tops and maxi skirts. 

Georgina from Makeup Pixi3 has started the summer tag and I love doing this kind of thing

so here it goes The Summer Tag: 

1.  What's your favourite thing about Summer?

Not the heat I'm not a fan of getting hot and sweaty, but what I do love about summer

is spending more time outside doing fun things like picnics and bbqs although most of the time I'm in the shade. 

2.  Do you have a favourite Summer drink?

I do love cocktails but now that I'm pregnant its worth looking at getting some mocktails in.

Other than that I do love having J20's I'm not fussy with the flavors but atm my favorite is apple and raspberry. 

3.  Is there a location you like to go to each Summer?

Nope but i use to go Blackpool every year with my family when I was younger and would love

to be able to go some place every year when our little one is here depending if we can afford it of course.

4.  Favourite makeup look for Summer?

natural, I use foundation and mascara but when i want to wear eye shadow I go for pastel colors

5.  Dresses or skirts?

Both I love maxi skirts and dresses they are so comfy.

6.  Sandals or ballet pumps?

I do prefer ballet pumps as they are more comfy but flipflops are great for when its really hot

7.  Do you prefer to wear your hair up or down for Summer?

Well the majority of the time I have my hair down no matter what the season but I do occasionally

go for a half up and half down style or in a ponytail.

8.  Deep smokey eyes or bold lips?

Smokey eyes I think smokey eyes suit me better than bold lips 

9.  Favourite perfume for Summer?

I don't really have one I own 3 perfumes and use them all through the year

10.  Last but not least, favourite music for Summer?L

I love music that makes me happy so the usual summer tunes

Christmas 2013 Tag!

Now that Christmas is under 5 weeks away and because I have seen quite a few people doing the 2013

Christmas tag I wanted to be involved! 

This tag was made by Makeup Pixi3. 

If your reading this I tag you and would love to see your answers! 

1.  Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?

We use a Synthetic tree year after year which works out much cheaper than

buying a real tree.

My parents only brought a real tree one year and I did love it! 

One day when we are living in a much bigger place I would

love to be able to buy a real tree each year!

2.  You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?

I normally go for a Christmassy Hot Chocolate from Costa or a Gingerbread latte.

One drink I'd love to try though is Eggnog just so I can say I've tried it! 

3.  Whats your favourite colour scheme for decorating the tree?

We don't really tend to go for theme we just use whatever decorations we have which

is normally red, white, blue and silver but if we get more it doesn't tend to 

be a specific colour I love the idea of a tree which has loads of lovely colours!

4.  Giving or receiving?

Both-  Giving because I love to see the smiles on other peoples faces.

Receiving  well because who doesn't like getting a gift. 

5.  To mince pie or not to?

Yes I love mince pies I am biased though as I believe my mum's are the best! 

6.  What's your traditional sunday lunch?

The norm is Turkey, stuffing, brussels, carrots, peas, parsnips,

sausages wrapped in bacon, roast potato's and gravy. 

If we are over at my mum's she makes her lovely bread sauce 

to go with it! 

As for pudding it tends to vary but their is always Christmas pudding at Christmas time!

7.  Christmas day fashion

I use Christmas day to wear either something snug, warm and relaxed or to dress up 

a little. 

8.  What's your favourite Christmas song?

White Christmas I also love Michael Buble's Christmas album

which has his version on it as well. I do love all the traditional 

Christmas songs/carols.

9.  What's your favourite Christmas film?

There is so many good ones but am going to say elf or

the Grinch who stole Christmas. 

10.  Open presents before or after lunch?

Before when I am over at my mum's we open them first thing.

If we are going to my in laws as we in the same town we open our presents

at our place and then go over to the in laws to swap gifts before we settle down for our

lovely Christmas meal.
