Little Moments 2020: 1/52 | Visiting Family

I've decided to start a new series on my blog called Little Moments where I'll be sharing the little moments that we have got up to each week.

It will be a way of documenting Blake growing, days out, adventures and a lot more. This way I get to share our experiences with you and have something for us to look back on too.

This week we have traveled down from Lincolnshire to Bedfordshire to spend time with family over the new year period.  We've actually been pretty busy and making the most of our time here.

We've done the Festive Fairy Trail at Rushmere Country Park.  This was really interesting learning more about the types of trees and finding the fairies. The trail wasn't too big either so it was a pleasant walk and ideal for little legs as there wasn't too much walking to be done, to complete the trail.

We also fitted in meeting up with one of mine and Blake's friends. We headed to soft play to let our boys burn of some energy before lunch at the local garden centre and watching the fishes at a nearby pet shop.

We fitted in seeing my mum we did a spot of shopping and then had lunch followed by coffee and cake ( ice cream for Blake). My sister has had my nephew near the end of December but due to personal circumstances we've not been able to see him yet.  We plan to do another visit this way next month during half term so I'm really looking forward to meeting him and getting cuddles then.

Blake also got to open some belated gifts for Birthday/Christmas which also included a beautifully handmade cat boy hat and scarf set from his Auntie Megan. So that's been our first week of 2020.
