Bunches Lemon Drizzle Flowers.

As you will know by now I love flowers and Bunches are one of my favorite florists.
I was recently sent a bouquet from their summer range.

The popular Lemon Drizzle bouquet has bright yellow Germini surrounded by yellow spray Anastasia, white Alstomeria, sunny yellow Daisies and a gorgeous mix of Chrysanthemums.
Perfectly finished with a pretty white Carnation, Asiatic Lily and yellow Solidago.

I love how bright they make our flat feel especially on days when its dull and raining like it has
been most of this week.
As usual they arrived within a day and well packaged.

My 1st Years Fathers Day Gift Idea

With Fathers Day coming up pretty soon (15th June) I thought this year that I would mention fathers day more on my blog.
As you will probably know that I lost my father back in 2009 so I didn't feel the need to mention it.
I do however have a father in law who we find it tough to find gifts for.
I  know quite a few of my followers are parents and that a lot of you find it hard
when it comes to getting gift ideas for men so its a no brainier really that I should
help you with gift ideas for fathers day.

My First Years sent me a gift from one of their Fathers Day gift range.
With prices starting at £12 you are bound to find an amazing special and unique gift.
I got to pick which item I would like from the range to show you and I chose to
go for the chrome helicopter paperweight and pen.

Delivery was pretty quick after I had made my choice I received the item the next day!

The item was well packaged and all items from My 1st Years come in a blue
box with a white ribbon making it look smart and giving it an extra special touch.

When I had opened the box there was a smaller box which was wrapped up lovingly in white
tissue paper.

As you can see above the pen and the paperweight are separate but are easy to put together

The quirky paperweight and pen makes the perfect gift for Dad whether you are first time Dad or otherwise.
The gift will your Dad's pride possession on his desk, what makes it so fab is that the helicopters propellers
 is in fact the pen.
Making it a fab two in one gift.

At just £20 I feel that it makes the perfect gift.

What do you think? What is your favourite item?

Chimichanga Milton Keynes

Stuart and I love trying out different restaurants we mainly do this on a special occasion such as our birthdays or our anniversary.
I've never really mentioned it on my blog before because the last year or so we have
been going to the same restaurants and I've decided to start trying new places
 again.

My main favourite places to eat have been Italian restaurants but my favourite cuisine has to be Mexican.
I've never actually ate in a proper Mexican restaurant before though, I have however eaten at restaurants that
do a few Mexican dishes such as Fajitas which are my ultimate favourite.

So when I was asked if I wanted to visit Chimichanga in Milton Keynes on a Saturday
me and Stuart were rather excited.

On arrival we were greeted by who think was the manager who took us to our table.
Visually we were very impressed with the decor inside the restaurant and
I wish I had taken a photo of the Mexican sombreros dotted around the place.
The restaurant is very clean and modern looking which is a plus in my books.

Once we had ordered our drinks we had a look at the menu to choose our starter and main.
When our drinks arrived I was very impressed that we were given ice glasses as the weather was so hot and we really needed to cool down, as we had a journey to Milton Keynes on a very hot stuffy bus.

CHILLI FOCACCIA, £2.95

Both me and Stuart chose to go for a vegetarian starter each and as Stuart
is a fan of anything with a bit of spice he chose the Chilli Focaccia.
which is toasted focaccia bread with chilli flakes drizzled with chilli oil.
He really enjoyed his starter and it was finished pretty fast.

NACHOS, £5.50
I am a huge fan of nachos but can honestly say that these were the best nachos I have ever eaten!
The tortilla chips were served with fresh salsa, guacamole and melted cheese.
It was a great size portion too and I found myself sharing some with Stuart as they were really filling.

GRANDE QUESADILLA, £9.95

Stuart chose to go for the Grande Quesadilla for his main which is
a baked flour tortilla sandwich drizzled with sour cream, served with Mexican rice and
chipotle chilli sauce with a choice of filling which Stuart had BBQ pulled pork, cheese and salsa.

CHIMICHANGA, £12.50

I went for the Chimichanga which is a flour tortilla fried golden brown with cheese, sautéed onions and pepperswith a choice of filling, I chose to go for the sliced fajita steak. The Chimichanga is then garnished with sour cream, chives, guacamole and tortilla croutons. The dish is served with Mexican rice and black beans.

SEASONED HOUSE FRIES, £3.25

We also ordered fries for on the side which was really lovely.

We really would love to have gone for dessert, however  we were stuffed from the starter and main.
Although I did leave a lot of my main I can assure you it was because I was just too full and for no other reason, as it was one of the best meals I have ever eaten.

I was very impressed on the service the drinks and meals arrived within pretty good time,
no long waits like you get in some restaurants.

The staff were all lovely and polite and offered us advice on what sides and desserts to choose
from so next time we go I will certainly be giving them a try.

After we had finished our meal the manager thanked us for our visit and so yes we will be eating there again in the future.

Have you ever been to Chimichanga? Do you like Mexican food?

Sensations Popcorn

Walkers are now introducing Sensations Popcorn!
In three wonderful and wacky flavours.
- Thai Sweet Chilli
- Salt and Sweet Indian Spice
and
- Sweet Cinnamon

Famous for their sweet and aromatic crisps the popular Walkers Sensation brand is giving a new meaning of "sweevory" trend with new fusion inspired popcorn.

The flavours have been inspired by around the world and this collection of enticing flavoured popcorn
is set to revolutionise the way we snack and is sure to add a little indulgence to your day.

My favourite has to be the Thai Sweet Chilli I love this flavour in the crisps.
I have found that the popcorn version is just as good.

The Salt and Sweet Indian Spice was my least favourite.
I think it is a very authentic Indian spice flavour but in general for me
its not to my taste.

The Sweet Cinnamon flavour is lovely but if you eat a huge huge quantity in one go
it can be rather sickly.

The 90g sharing bag is sold in most supermarkets and retails at £1.59

Belo and Me Lunch Bag Competion

You may have seen my review of Belo and Me's Lunch bag which is pictured below.

Now Belo and Me are giving one person a chance to win one in their choice of design.

Belo and Me Lunch Bag

Belo and Me started up in 2010 first on a market, the Christmas market went so well
that owner Rachel started up an ebay shop and website to expand the range.
Year after year sales have increased and they are now selling a good amount of bags.

Belo and Me sell a range of little jute bags that are suitable for carrying your lunch around in.
They come in many colours and designs so that their is something suitable for everyone.

I chose the 4 heart bag in fuchsia the bags are strong, hard wearing and long lasting which is ideal.
They are also reusable and biodegradable.

I love that the bag is a perfect size for fitting in my lunch box and other little food and drink items in.
I also like that the bag is easy to hold and I don't have to worry about handles snapping.
The laminated lining is great as it can be wiped clean in case my drink decides to leak.

The bags are eco friendly alternative to plastic or paper bag.
The bag is £3.75 and 22cm x 21cm x12cm with the design printed on one side.

The bag not only can be used as a lunch bag but also as :
- A party bag
- Gift bag
or
- as mini shopping bag.

P20 Sun Protection

At some point today we will be travelling home from Wales after our bank holiday weekend break.
It's not yet sunny enough to warrant wearing sun cream but I am looking forward to when the summer months come so that I can pop on my summer clothing and spend more time outside.

I was recently sent some sun cream from a brand called P20.
Active after just 15 minutes of application this once a day sun protection makes it easy
for all skin types to stay protected.

P20 contains both UVA and UVB filters, providing a broad spectrum sun protection for up to 10 hours!
With a unique alcohol based formula its set apart from traditional cream type sun products.

The original P20 SPF sun protection is available in a transparent lotion whilst SPF's 15, 30 and 50 +
have a much more light weight consistency and a spray format for easy application.

P20 is designed to ensure that one application a day is sufficient, keeping the time spent reapplying sun protection  to a minimum. Once a day protection means a little goes a long way, making P20 a more economical lotion than other sun protection products.

P20's once a day formula is proven to remain effective even after frequent swimming and is categorised as
"Very Water Resistant"  which is the highest classification available.

P20's unique formula is transparent and light weight in consistency, ensuring a silky and even coverage.
It's a great product if like me you hate the feel of thick and greasy formulas and as its active within 15 minutes of application its absorbed quickly with no stickiness or messy white marks left with most sun creams/lotions.

P20 is suitable for the whole family when outdoors, at home or abroad.
The range is available in both  200ml and travel friendly 100ml size, from all major grocery and pharmacy retailers.
The RRP is £13.29 for 100ml and £24.49 for 200ml.

Blue Frog Gym Towel

Today I am off to Wales for the bank holiday weekend!  I am looking forward to partying and enjoying a lovely

sweat free.
The towel has a very handy and innovative zipped compartment that is spilt into two so that your phone is

I love the idea of this towel as not only can your phone fit inside but you can fit
in other objects such as your gym card, Ipod and keys.
I am looking forward to seeing what other colours that Blue Frog come out with!
The towel retails at £7.99 which can be found on their website (see link above)
