LITTLE MOMENTS | 32/52: GAINSBOROUGH OLD HALL

 For this weeks main trip we decided to stay even more local and visit Gainsborough Old Hall. Gainsborough Old Hall is part of the English Heritage who care for hundreds of historical buildings. 



About the old hall
Gainsborough Old Hall is a building that reflects over five hundred years of history in its walls. From paupers to princes the history of an English market town can be read through the sites development. 

Location and Admissions :
Gainsborough Old Hall is located in the heart of the town Gainsborough in Lincolnshire. The Old hall is currently open Monday till Sunday 10am til 5pm.

As of writing this prices are as follows:
Adults £10.90
Child (5-17) £6.60
Concessions £9.90
Family (2 adults, up to 3 children) £28.40
Family (1 adult, up to 3 children) £17.50

Things to look out for:

Uncover the draw jaw dropping spaces of the Great Hall before wandering winding corridors and up dead end stairs. See how feasts were prepared in one of the best surviving medieval kitchens in the country and climb the 59 steps to the top of the tower for views across Lincolnshire.
