I'm an Amazon addict! Whether buying gifts or spending vouchers I get for Birthday/Christmas or just wanting to treat the 3 of us, I'll find something. With this in mind I decided to share with you some of my favourite Amazon buys.

Little Brian Paint Sticks

These are amazing! Blake loves using them and its a great way for children to paint with less mess. They are easy to clean up and dry quickly too so they are a must for children's craft boxes. They do other sets too such as minis for travel and metallic ones. 

Sensory Bubble timer
We have two of these as Blake is really into sensory stuff and I've seen pictures of him enjoying these at preschool. It's a great way to clam him to by getting these out.

Umbra Tesora copper/grey jewellery stand

I really love the unique design of this jewlerry box it was an item I purchased with my birthday vouchers this year. It has a concrete resin base so is heavy but it looks great on my side table in our bedroom. 

Umbra 4x6 copper prisma photo frame
This is a gorgeous frame. I love the geometric back and that its such a unqiue design. I keep meaning to get a photo printed off of Blake to go in it.

Inancy sterling silver star sea pendant 
The photo really doesn't give this necklace justice. It's such a pretty and sparkley design which is simple but stunning.






Dew sterling silver open heart studs 
These earnings are simple in design however so comfortable to wear and I'm definitely impressed when it comes to the brand. Unlike earrings I've worn before I'm not worried about the butterflies coming out at the back and losing one of the earrings as they feel secure.

Dew sterling silver with rose gold plated rose studs

These are so pretty and remind me of beauty and the beast. The earrings are sterling silver and then plated with rose gold. They fit comfortable and securely and look stunning. I've also purchased the matching necklace which is just as pretty. 

Potty training stepladder 

 We love how sturdy this is and its a great way to help with toilet training as little ones can often feel scared that they will fall in the toilet. I'm hoping this will help now that we are attempting toilet training again. 

Slide out kitchen bathroom rack
This is my most recent purchase and I chose to get the 4 tier one for our bathroom. It's great as I can fit so much more on it and it doesn't take up as much room that our last stand did. 

Small Poundland Haul

I've not done a haul post for awhile but today I wanted to share with you a few bits I picked up in our local poundland for Blake. 

They are all things for activities to do with him and at £1 each I thought they were a bargain as he will get so much use out of them. 

Pom Pom balls are ideal for doing a range of activities with. We did a scooping activity yesterday with them but u can also use them for other activities for fine motor skills and for using in crafts. 

These skittles are great I picked them up as Blake loves ball games and this would be a fab for him to enjoy and can be used indoors as well as outdoors. 

This egg and spoon toy set is great for role play. We can pretend to make cakes, use the spoons for stirring, scooping etc. 

Playdough is something I wanted to get Blake into and both the 4 mini dough pots and dough bucket are a great way to start. We are yet to try them but I think its a great starter set as I don't want to spend a lot on the playdough brand when he may not be that interested in it yet.

Amazon Haul

It's time for another haul post, I recently did a spot of shopping on Amazon and

wanted to share with you what I ordered. 

Splash About Baby Wrap Neoprene Wetsuit 

As Blake has swimming classes every Saturday afternoon we use a wrap to keep him 

warm in the pool and this is the second Splash about wrap we have purchased. 

The only fault I find with it is the sizing isn't the best he is 14 months and we are having to put him

in a size 18-30 months wrap as his 6- 18 month one is too small now. 

Other than that we love it, Blake also has the swim nappy and the nappy wrap too. 

Playful Parenting (Book)

I chose this book as I thought it would be a great parenting guide. 

It seems to have good reviews and is about helping your child to develop 

and learn through play. 

The Unmumsy Mum (Book)

The Unmumsy Mum writes candidly about motherhood like it really is: the messy, maddening, hilarious reality, how there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach and how it is sometimes absolutely fine to not know what you are doing. 

I'm really looking forward to reading this it looks like an easy to dip into book for when you have a bit of time to unwind. 

Garland Square Tray

This may sound like an usual purchase since we don't have a garden. 

However we plan to use this for messy play with Blake. 

Since we went to a messy play class when Stuart was off work we decided that 

we wanted to do messy play at home with Blake. 

At the group they had these trays to put all kinds of messy activities in and

I also know nurseries use them not just for messy play but for

playing with toys such as Lego. 

Splash Mat 

The blue splash mat underneath the tray goes hand in hand with messy 

play as it means we can keep the floors cleaner.

I then purchased some books to help come up with some ideas of play. 

365 things to make and do

I love Usborne books and this one is fab it has so many great activity ideas. 

I do feel that most of them will be better for when Blake is older though. 

With some of the activities I feel I can adapt them slightly so that they are more age appropriate for him now such as the hand printing ideas. 

101 things for kids to do outside

Another fab book that has a wide range of activities and can be adapted to suit 

the age of your child. 

I love the idea of this book as we don't have a garden and I find it hard to come

up with ideas of what we can do outside. 

The great thing is that this book has activities for all seasons so that I can find something for us to do no matter the weather.

Little book of messy play

The title of the book says it all. 

A book filled with messy play ideas. I think these were the little

 books I used in college when studying in childcare to come up with activities for when 

I was at my placement.

Mini Superdrug Haul

Hi everyone so recently I popped into Superdrug as I wanted to get some new make up bits. 

I don't spend an awful lot on make up and tend to get new bits in drips and drabs but this time 

I picked out seven items to add to my make up collection. 

First up I picked up the Makeup Revolution Antibacterial Brush Cleaner. 

If you read my what I got for Christmas post you would know my sister brought me some of the

Real Techniques make up brushes. So I decided that I needed to get a good brush cleaner. 

This cleaner is specially formulated to keep your makeup brushes clean and free from bacteria.

It is web exclusive and cost £5 for 200ml. I really like the smell of this and you need about 4 sprays per brush to get them clean but for £5 its pretty good as I know a lot of brush cleaners tend to be more expensive. 

I then purchased the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder I have heard good things about this powder

and it retails at £3.99 so a great price too. I picked this up in number 01 Transparent. 

I also decided to try out a foundation I have heard about but never actually tried before. 

The Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in number 10 light porcelain. 

I am pale so find it hard when it comes to choosing the right shade foundation. 

I tend to stick with what I know but from time to time I do like try to find something new. 

I've not tried this out yet but have just run out of my usual foundation so tomorrow I'll be giving this a go. 

Next up is the Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara.

This is actually the second one I have brought of this mascara and I love it. 

I go for a waterproof mascara all the time as I do find that if I don't my mascara will always smudge. 

This mascara is hands down my favorite so far.  I have tried so many different ones and they just 

haven't been for me. 

Now when it comes to eyeliner I've never really got on with it. 

I use to use a eyeliner pencil but always found it smudged easily and 

I have been too nervous to use a liquid or gel liner so I just didn't bother. 

That is until now I have started using the Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner 

and love it. I have gone for the color number 5 brown but it comes in other colors too. 

I feel that a black one would be too dark for me but I am now getting much better at doing eyeliner

and just wish I had tried properly before. 

I also picked out the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer again its a product
I have heard good things about and I love. 

I love using this under my eyes to get rid of my dark circles and it's amazing.
I also use it on spots and red areas of my face. 

Last of all is the Collection Matt Lip Butter Pencils I picked up the shade 2 Pumpkin Pie but 

I also own more from the collection which is hence why I went and picked up a shade I don't have.

Pumpkin pie is a orangey shade which looks very pretty. 

I love Matt ones as the color stays on my lips all day. 

In the Matt shades I have this one and the number 1 Marshmallow pink which is also very pretty.

In the regular ones I have the colors cappuccino and vintage rose which are more natural. 

I do love the other colors so will probably buy them at some point.

May Bank Holiday Weekend Haul

I was meant to type up this post last week but have been so busy I have only just got round to it.  

I've not done a haul post in awhile and actually have no idea why I don't do them more often as I do love reading

other bloggers haul posts. 

On Saturday we went to Milton Keynes and did some shopping in quiet a few places. 

We first of all went to BandM, I love BandM and I think Milton Keynes has 3 BandM stores in total (correct me if I'm wrong). We went to one of the smaller stores in Bletchley though .

I love homeware items and am trying to make more special touches to our home over the recent weeks. 

So in BandM I got 6 items which I am excited to show you! 

First of all I got two faux plants they cost me £3.99 each and I now have one placed on our bedroom window sill

and the other is in our bathroom on our little metal stand we have in there. 

The little boat that I got for £2.99 is sat in our bathroom. 

Our bathroom was in need of a bit of color as it is all white and after decluttering the window sill

at the weekend there was an area where it needed something so the boat is now placed there and it fits in nicely. 

I got a mouse for my laptop which I have yet to try out.

I sometimes find it easier to use a USB optical mouse rather than the touchpad when using my laptop. 

I also chose this photo frame for Blake's nursery which says Mummy + Daddy = Me for £3.99.

I just need to choose 3 photos to fill it and then decide where abouts I am going to put it. 

Last of all from BandM is these 3 wicker baskets which were £7.99. 

I have wanted wicker baskets for ages, so I am very happy with getting these at such a fab price too. 

The bigger one is filled with nappy changing bits and one of the smaller ones has baby lotion, powder, oil.

The other of the small baskets hasn't got anything in it yet but I am sure that I'll find something to go in it soon.

I am loving pale blue at the moment so I brought a new bin for the bathroom from Tesco for £5. 

The bin we use to have in there was much smaller so at least we have one that is a bit bigger now and in such 

a lovely shade of blue too. 

My sister had given me one of her quilt covers which she brought and then decided she didn't want and it goes perfectly in our bedroom. So I decided to get a new cream fitted sheet in Primark to go with it.

 The duvet cover is a lovely pearly pink color so I thought cream would go with it well.

I got some shorts for Blake ready for the summer in 6-9 months. 

Although he is only coming up for 5 months old he is starting to outgrow his 3-6 months clothing.

I got these shorts for £3 in Asda.

We are planning on starting to wean Blake at the weekend so I started off by buying him some spoons

in Tesco which were on offer for just under £2. 

We did go out and buy him some more bits this weekend just gone but I'll show you

in a separate post about weaning. 

I've really got into buying clothing for Blake from Peacocks as they have lovely bits and the prices

are fab too.

 I got him some more tops in there and we need no more of in 6-9 months as we have kitted him out now

and he has loads. 

The red one  with cars was in the sale and was £2, the grey one that says "cute runs in the family" 

was also in the sale at £3.  

The orange top wasn't in the sale but I thought it was cute it says

 "Awesome just like my Dad" and was £2.50.  

Last of all was some clothing from Primark for Blake. 

We got him some vests in 6-9 months which were £3 a pack.

We will need to get more though but they only had 3 packs of 6-9 months left in the Milton Keynes store.

Stuart chose this cute little romper that says Dude which is perfect for the summer I think it was £5. 

The chinos are so cute and I love navy on Blake so these went straight in the basket and cost £4.

Last of all we got a very light weight jacket for summer which I can't remember the price of.
