Pregnancy is a time in your life where you don't just think about you but also about the baby you are carrying.

It is also a time where it is a good idea to treat yourself and keep your body in tip top condition ready for when 

you gvie birth and also to make you feel great. 

Creightons Argon Body range which are sold in Poundland for you guessed it £1 each,

are a range of bargain products that smell and make you feel fab. 

I was sent three of the products from their range: 

- The Shower Cream

- The hand and nail cream

and 

- The body cream 

All of the Argon Body range are infused with Moroccan argon oil which is rich in natural antioxidants

to deeply moisturise and nourish the skin. 

The shower cream foams up easily and only a small amount is needed so that you 

can have a pampered shower experience. 

The Body cream makes your skin feel soft, smooth and moisturised all day long. 

As for the hand and nail cream it moisturises and deep conditions your hands making them 

feel great. 

Derma V10 Body Butter

On Friday I told you about a budget stretch mark oil I have been using. 

Today I am sharing with you a body butter that I am in love with by the same 

lovely brand Derma V10. 

I first came across this body butter well over 6 years ago when I was over at my Nan's 

as it is one of her go to products for keeping your skin moisturised and smelling fab. 

When I moved to Leighton Buzzard I found that our local Wilko sold it and whenever my Nan came over she

would buy a pot or two. I also brought a pot on one occasion and loved it. 

I had actually forgotten all about this body butter as I've been trying out other brands 

for quiet awhile including The Body Shop Body Butters. 

When I was sent this item with a few other goodies I was thrilled as it will get me into using it 

again. 

The Derma V10 Body Butters are just as good as The Body Shop's ones if not better. 

The range comes in 8 wonderful different fragrances so that you can find one to suit you. 

I've found the Coconut Body Butter is thick, creamy and indulgent and glides onto your skin,

keeping you deeply moisturised, nourished and protected.

Its great applied daily after your bath or shower and smells good enough to eat.

I love that I also no longer need to wear perfume as the scent lasts all day long too. 

I am a huge fan especially as this is a great product for feeling a bit of luxury during pregnancy but saving the £s in process. 

Another great thing is the price at £1 for a 220ml pot whats not to love.

Derma V10 Rescue Oil

Since finding out that I am expecting our first child in December one of the first things I started doing was apply a stretch mark cream daily.

I have faded stretch marks already thanks to weight going up and down in the past which have now faded to a light silvery color which isn't that noticeable luckily. 

Now that I am going to be gaining weight quiet rapidly I am hoping that I wont get them too bad. 

I recently came across Rescue Oil from Derma V10 which is a budget friendly oil which helps to rescue your skin from scar tissue, blemishes, signs of ageing, stretch marks or sun dehydration. 

The oil's amazing formulation of peach kernal and almond oil, sweet primrose and vitamin E has remarkable hydrating effects on your skin and leaves it looking brighter, smoother and visibly healed.

The Better Fit Lingerie

When your busty it can be pretty hard to get a good quality bra that looks lovely

but is also comfortable for everyday.

I picked out the Fantasie Helena Under-wired Balcony Bra, £25.

The bra gives support and control, the unpadded cups are made from three parts and the top cup features intricate floral lace.  The straps are thick and decorated with lacework to the shoulder which adjuster fits over the 

detailing so the straps are fully adjustable. This bra is ideal for everyday use as well as for special occasions hence why its so popular.

I found that the bra is true to size and fits perfectly making me feel comfortable all day. 

The straps are easy to adjust and the bra is a pretty addition to my underwear draw. 

Getting ready for the summer part one: Fitflop ready feet

 With Summer now approaching fast,it's time to get ourselves ready for 

for the warm days that we should hopefully get. 

So the first of my getting ready for summer posts I am going to show you how to get your
feet flipflop ready. 

For quite a few months now I have been living in boots and am pretty sure that you have been too. 
So when it comes to making me feet flipflop ready one of the first things I do is 
put them in a bowl of lovely warm water with some bubbles and sit back and relax. 
I would love a foot spa but at the moment I just use a regular spare washing up bowl. 

I then apply a good foot scrub such as Green People's sugar scrub which smooths and 
polishes my feet, getting rid of any dry skin. 
The Green people's sugar scrub leaves me feet feeling silky and soft 
while gently exfoliating and allowing moisturisers to penetrate more effectively. 

I then  dry my feet making sure I get in between my toes and then 

make sure my nails are nice and tidy and apply hard as nails coat

onto them to make them a little shiny and make sure they don't break as easily.

I then massage a body butter into my feet such as Green People's body butter

which is also an emergency repair balm so can be used all over the body.

The body butter is also a great non petroleum alternative to Vaseline.

Betrousse Absolutely Fabulous Box

 Last week I was excited to receive the new Betrousse Beauty Box. 

I have spent the last couple of days trying out the products that was in this lovely box. 

You can buy the box here for £19 however the contents of the box are worth a whopping £119. 

As you can see the items are as usual wrapped in lovely pink tissue paper. 

I love receiving beauty products from brands I've not heard of or 

never tried so it was fab to see such a lovely range

of items.

Helenere Intensive Serum

The Intensive Serum, £32 for 15ml is my least favourite item in the box. 

This is because in general I'm not that keen on face Serum's. 

I did however give the Serum a try and did find my skin to 

feel smooth and soft after applying and I did like that it 

is suitable for all skin types. 

The Serum has a complex of Edelweiss extract and

prevents a loss of moisture in your skin and is ideal for day/night nourishment. 

Helenere 24 hour Cream

The 24 hour cream retails at £30 for 30ml and is a moisturising cream 

with protective properties based on a pure and exclusive complex of extract of Edelweiss. 

The 24 hour cream leaves skin feeling fresh and enhances make up. 

I applied this after giving myself a mini facial over the weekend and 

found that it absorbs into your skin pretty fast leaving it smooth and soft. 

Duck Island Sensuous Shampoo

The Duck Island Sensuous Shampoo, £14.98 for 250ml is a luxury product

that I found from reading on other bloggers posts is used in some hotel chains. 

I love the cute little duck on the packaging and that it is in a pump bottle

which for me is a plus when it comes to high end products. 

The shampoo has such a lovely and refreshing scent and is easy to 

lather, after use my hair felt lovely and silky smooth.

Organic Surge Pure and Clean Facial Wash

The product I was most looking forward to using! 

The Organic Surge facial wash, £5.49 for 200ml 

is brand I have heard of but never tried before. 

I use a facial wash every day so was very happy to try out this one

that is new to me. 

The facial wash has 100% natural foaming action which rinses away

make up and impurities without stripping your skin of its natural moisture. 

I love this product, it smells so fresh and kept my skin so silky soft

and I can from time to time suffer from sensitive skin so it's 

really ideal for me. 

Spa Find Sculpted Silhouette Inch-wrap Firming Gel

I was also very excited about this product.

The Inch-wrap firming gel, £25.30 for 250ml contains a Iso-Slim Complex, a combination of natural slimming and fat-burning agents Caffeine, Carnitine and Spirulina,

 blended with Soy Isoflavones skin is tightened and lifted,

 and cellulite is visibly reduced with the aid of natural Ivy Extract, Dead Sea Minerals

 and Hyaluronic Acid, known as the key to the fountain of youth.

The gel has a pleasant scent and absorbs into your skin pretty quickly

 and has loads of benefits I have mainly tried this on my thighs but

am going to give this a go on my tummy area and arms too. 

Leor Facial Exfoliate Creme

A product I had mixed thoughts on before trying. 

The Facial exfoliate creme £11 for 100gr contains smooth pumice to 

gently exfoliate your face and neck area by removing dead skin cells. 

Before using I thought it maybe will turn out to be just another facial exfoliate 

but I liked that it is lavender scented. 

After use well my opinion is different, after use my skin felt so

smooth and fresh and I generally felt very relaxed due to the 

lovely lavender scent.  It's a product that is ideal when I 

have my weekly facial/pamper sessions as it makes me feel so

relaxed and makes my skin feel so good.

Review: Christmas With The Body Shop

I am sure most of you would have heard of The Body Shop. 

The Body Shop believe that beauty comes from the heart and not just a pretty face. 

All products are made with love and care and one of the big things I love

about The Body Shop is that they don't test on animals and that all of their products

are 100% Vegetarian. 

I first brought skincare and make up items from The Body Shop back in 2003 when I was 13 

and my Nan had taken me to have one of their make up classes and brought me 

a range of their make up and skincare products as my 13th birthday gift! 

I have been a huge fan of The Body Shop ever since and even more 

exciting is their Christmas range! 

The lovely PR company for The Body Shop sent me a few of their fab

Christmas products and I am very excited to show them to you! 

First up is the Ginger Manicure and Moisture Duo, £6. 

This is fab gift for your secret Santa or as a stocking filler! 

The spicy and ginger scented cream makes hands feel festive and smooth. 

Secondly I received the Festive Handcream Trio, £12.

A fab set of mini 30ml hand creams that are Cranberry, Vanilla and Ginger  

scented. A fab treat if you don't know which scent to choose from. 

  

Last of all to vamp up your look for a Christmas party, for Christmas day

or even as a gift their is this gorgeous eye palette, £15.

Slendertone Premium Abs first impressions

First of all I will start by saying that I wasn't asked to do this post 

and that it is of my own accord.

I recently won the Slendertone Premium Ads and it arrived speedy fast

and I gave it a go for the first time yesterday. 

In the box you will find 

- A belt that will fit up to a 44 inch waist 

- A set of three pads 

- a mains adapter

-  a storage bag 

- Information booklet 

- a plug in handset that controls the handset and it's intensity .

So it was rather easy to set up; you have to charge the battery for 3 hours 

before you can give it a go, which can be a rather bit of a pain. 

The booklet tells you where you put the pads on the belt 

but just so you know the large pad goes in the middle of the 

belt so it goes over your navel, the other two small

pads go on your left and right. 

Once you have it all plugged on its very simple to use

and to select the program and intensity level/s. 

Now once you have the program on for my first go it felt 

a little tickle-y but I could feel it kinda working. 

It is recommended that you have it on intensity 15 or over for your first go.

I found 15 to be too low but 40 was a bit too high so I had it on about 35 which was great 

for me for the first time. 

Once having used the belt I certainly felt as if it was working as I felt a little achy. 

It wasn't a major achy feeling and I felt like I hadn't done a major workout 

but something was going on there. 

I am looking forward to trying out the 30 day challenge I'm not sure

how it will go but I feel it would take a few months to really see a difference. 

Review: Noble Isle Bath/shower gel and body lotion set

The bottles both contain 250ml , and smell wonderful. 

 Summer Rising is  an immaculate fragrance evoking the beginnings of summer,

 with extracts of toning elderflower 

and antioxidant-charged gooseberry with clean notes of orange blossom, 

moss and cut grass.

I have personally found these to be one of the best body care fragrances

I have tried in a long time.

The smell makes me think of long summer days, picnic's in the park

and trips out. 

Review: SunSense Sun Screen Products

No matter how careful you are your skin is always exposed to the sun light.

I have come to love this product as I can protect my skin every day 

and not worry about the crème making my skin way too oily like other

sun screens have in the past. 

Then we have the Ultra sun screen suitable for all the family

with factor 50. 

Its great for use at home or on holiday and 

you can encourage your children to use this on a daily basis before

nursery/school. 

Prices of the Ultra sun screen starts at £8.99 

I am not normally a fan of sun screens that don't come in pump form.

I know that the Ultra can be brought in a larger pump bottle, 

however I have found that I like these products so much without the pump bottle anyway

as they are not greasy like other formula's I have tried. 

Review: Weleda Samples

The lovely people from Weldea sent me a few samples to try out. 

First of all Skin food which is a skin repair cream to use 

on dry patches of your skin. 

As I have mentioned before I do suffer from dry skin on my hands

during the winter months so I was thrilled to say that this helps. 

It is Made with organic sunflower seed oil, extracts of wild pansy, chamomile, calendula

 and rosemary extract. 

It is a natural everyday face and body cream which is excellent 

for using as a protective against harsh weather. 

When using this cream I'd recommend using it sparingly as a little goes

a long way. 

I was also sent a sample of their Calendula Oil from their baby range

as I don't have any children myself I will be passing this on.

This Oil is suitable for everyday nourishment and to use for baby massage. 

It supports the skin's natural functions and protects it from moisture loss.

I also got two body oils the citrus refreshing oil and sea buckhorn oil . 

The citrus body oil is made from sun-ripened seeds and fruits, 

they are rich in precious substances which stimulate skin’s own natural regeneration

 and revitalisation processes. 

The Sea Buckthorn Body Oil contains biodynamic Sea Buckthorn Oil, which is rich in 

essential fatty acids, Provitamin A and Vitamin E to intensively nourish and protect the skin. 

Last of all I received the Pomegranate Firming Face Serum

which gives mature skin a intensive treatment.

 Ingredients include: millet extract and pomegranate juice to help stimulate the skin’s cell renewal, improve and balance the surface of the skin. 

Overall Weleda's products are fab and are of high quality meaning that its worth the cost. 

Review: Green People Body Butter

Green People is the leader in certified Organic body care products.

Established in 1997 Green People sell an extensive range of natural products

and is now one of the biggest names  in organic beauty in the UK. 

However Green People started just by a mother who wanted to help her young daughter.

In 1994 a 2 year old Sandra was suffering from eczema and sever allergies her mother 

Charlotte wanted to get to the bottom of the problem.

So Green People was born. 

You can read the full company history here  if you wish. 

I tried the 200ml Body Butter, £19.95 which is packed 

in a  wide based plastic pot with a white lid with the logo

on the top and side.

 Now as I like to be honest in my reviews that I do I will say 

that I do find that the logo of Green People's products to be a bit

of a disappointment. I personally believe that they could make 

the logo bigger and more attractive so that it stands out and

is more eye catching to the consumer. 

On opening the Body Butter I was hit with a gorgeous scent of 

Organic Pomegranate, Rosehip and coconut I could also 

smell a lemony scent too which when I read the ingredients 

I found out that this lovely Body Butter contains Lemon-grass oil. 

To use apply on dry skin after showering/bathing and massage

in with long gentle strokes allow to soak in before dressing.

I mainly used this body butter on my arms and stomach 

and found that it is more like an oil then a cream which 

when I hear Body Butter I assume will be a cream 

but that isn't a problem really. 

When applying I found it easy to apply all over my skin and you don't

need a lot at all so the pot will last awhile. 

I also found that the oil warms up too when applying which

is nice definitely great when the weather is like today with 

loads of snow on the ground and your feeling really cold.

The only disadvantage of this Body Butter is that I found

that it was a tad greasy and took awhile to adsorb into my skin.  

Overall I do feel that this Body Butter is more suited to someone

with much more drier skin then me due to its moisturising benefits. 

I am going to try applying to my feet and putting on a clean pair of socks 

before bed so that my feet feel more smoother in the morning 

as do suffer from dry skin more on that area of my body

and I am sure that this would work wonders.
