Small Poundland Haul

I've not done a haul post for awhile but today I wanted to share with you a few bits I picked up in our local poundland for Blake.

They are all things for activities to do with him and at £1 each I thought they were a bargain as he will get so much use out of them.

Pom Pom balls are ideal for doing a range of activities with. We did a scooping activity yesterday with them but u can also use them for other activities for fine motor skills and for using in crafts.

These skittles are great I picked them up as Blake loves ball games and this would be a fab for him to enjoy and can be used indoors as well as outdoors.

This egg and spoon toy set is great for role play. We can pretend to make cakes, use the spoons for stirring, scooping etc.

Playdough is something I wanted to get Blake into and both the 4 mini dough pots and dough bucket are a great way to start. We are yet to try them but I think its a great starter set as I don't want to spend a lot on the playdough brand when he may not be that interested in it yet.

What do you think of my little haul? Have you picked up any bargains in your local poundland?

I was sent some products from their newborn range ready for when little pickle
arrives in December.

First of all I was sent the natural touch breast pads (40 pack), £3.99.
I was sent two packs of these and am looking forward to seeing how well they
work since I know I will have leaky boobs to look forward to.
The breast pads are waterproof and breathable as well as thin and discreet and have sticky pads
to hold them in place in my bra.
I like that the pads are wrapped individually so that I can carry them in my bag.

For baby I was sent Natural flex orthodontic soothers (2 pack), £3.99.
suitable for babies 0-6 months and available in:
A) pink and clear
B) blue and clear
and
C) clear

I chose the clear ones since we don't know little pickles gender.
We are planning to let our baby have a soother for the first 6 months.

We also received the teething buddies cow toy, £4.99.
It's suitable from 0 months and has multiple teething surfaces to aid eruption of new teeth.

leaving the mess behind (not on clothing).

1 x  padded neck milk feeding bib which features a Velcro closure.

1 x muslin for cleaning and winding which is made from pure and natural cotton.

I am looking forward to using these products once baby arrives.

Have you used any of their products? If so what was your favorite?

Creightons Argon Body

Pregnancy is a time in your life where you don't just think about you but also about the baby you are carrying.
It is also a time where it is a good idea to treat yourself and keep your body in tip top condition ready for when
you gvie birth and also to make you feel great.

Creightons Argon Body range which are sold in Poundland for you guessed it £1 each,
are a range of bargain products that smell and make you feel fab.

I was sent three of the products from their range:

- The Shower Cream
- The hand and nail cream
and
- The body cream

All of the Argon Body range are infused with Moroccan argon oil which is rich in natural antioxidants
to deeply moisturise and nourish the skin.

The shower cream foams up easily and only a small amount is needed so that you
can have a pampered shower experience.

The Body cream makes your skin feel soft, smooth and moisturised all day long.

As for the hand and nail cream it moisturises and deep conditions your hands making them
feel great.

Derma V10 Rescue Oil

Since finding out that I am expecting our first child in December one of the first things I started doing was apply a stretch mark cream daily.

I have faded stretch marks already thanks to weight going up and down in the past which have now faded to a light silvery color which isn't that noticeable luckily.
Now that I am going to be gaining weight quiet rapidly I am hoping that I wont get them too bad.

I recently came across Rescue Oil from Derma V10 which is a budget friendly oil which helps to rescue your skin from scar tissue, blemishes, signs of ageing, stretch marks or sun dehydration.

The oil's amazing formulation of peach kernal and almond oil, sweet primrose and vitamin E has remarkable hydrating effects on your skin and leaves it looking brighter, smoother and visibly healed.

When using to prevent stretch marks which is my main reason for using the oil.
It can be used before, during and after pregnancy massaging into skin twice a day.
It can also be used by being poured into your bath as a fab and luxury bath time treat.

When applying it is best used sparingly so that the oil can soak into your skin quickly and effectively.
I have found that rescue oil is non greasy and is only lightly fragranced and suitable for sensitive skin.

Derma Rescue Oil can be found:

40ml for £1 in Poundland
75ml  for £1.99 in Home bargains, bodycare and savers
150ml for £2.99 in Bodycare and Wilko

Derma Rescue Lotion ca be found:
75ml for £1 in Poundland

Have you ever tried rescue Oil?

As a lover of getting most for my money when I was asked to choose some items up to the value of
£20 I knew I wanted to get as many items as possible for that amount.

As you can see in the photo above I chose to go for some shabby chic
style items from the home accessories section.

whilst I was browsing the home accessories I came across the Spotty Wooden Heart
Hangings which come in 4 lovely colours green,  lilac, pink and blue.
I knew I had to have them but was unsure where I was going to put them.
But then I remembered I have some Sass and Bell bird hooks, I am going to
get Stuart to put up in the bedroom so I can have them hanging from there.
I chose to to have two one in pink and one in blue and at £1.60 each they are a great price!

Then I chose the Natural Slate Heart Chalkboard as I have always wanted to get one
to have in our little kitchen.
It's great for writing shopping lists or love notes.
The Slate Heart Chalkboard retails at £6.39.

Moving on I then chose a scarf from a selection they have for £7.99.
I chose to go for the Swallow Cream scarf which I have to add looks different from the picture on the website
as it looks more browner than the photo would make you think.
The scarf is super soft and super long with lots of fabric so that it can be worn how you like, creating layers
as well. The scarf is an ideal gift for any occasion.

What's your favourite from the selection of items I chose?

Canon Powershot SX170

Over the weekend I finally made up my mind to order a new camera.
I had wanted this one since spotting it  on sale for £89 in Argos but with having to
pay £50 for a 3 year warranty decided I was going to leave it.

I then won a £50 Amazon voucher and decided to see what the cost of this camera

was. At £105.99  it was a bit steep but I found a seller who was selling it for
£97.90 plus £8 postage and £19.99 for a 3 year warranty.
I only had to pay £65.89 of my own money in the end thanks to
my amazon voucher win and that I still had £10 left over from another voucher I had.

I can't wait to start testing out this camera as I have always
wanted one like this before.

All I need now is get a case for it in time for our London

trip in April.

What camera do you have?

Shoe Zone Faux Shearling Riding Boots

When it comes to finding the perfect boots price and quality are at the forefront of my mind.
So when Shoe Zone asked me if I wanted to review any of their shoes/boots I decided that I had to choose some new boots.

I've always liked Shoe Zone due to their items being great quality at great prices.and these boots at £29.99 show that you don't always have to pay £50 plus for a great pair of boots!

As you can see the grey faux shearling lining can be turned down to give a collar giving two looks in one.
It has an inner side zip fastening, a buckle and strap feature to front and a low heel.
I've found that having a inner zip fastening has made it so much easier for me to get the boots on as I'm sure quite a few of you may find getting your heel into boots can be tricky so this is very handy.

I've been wearing these boots near enough every time I go out since
I got them over a week ago and they are so comfy and keep my feet warm
and dry.

At the weekend me and Stuart decide to go to one of the nearest shopping centre's to do a little bit of window
shopping. So I decided to go for my normal casual look by paring my boots with leggings, a white strappy top and blue crotchet top.

What do you think of these boots? Will you be converting to Shoe Zone?
