Creightons Argon Body

Pregnancy is a time in your life where you don't just think about you but also about the baby you are carrying.

It is also a time where it is a good idea to treat yourself and keep your body in tip top condition ready for when 

you gvie birth and also to make you feel great. 

Creightons Argon Body range which are sold in Poundland for you guessed it £1 each,

are a range of bargain products that smell and make you feel fab. 

I was sent three of the products from their range: 

- The Shower Cream

- The hand and nail cream

and 

- The body cream 

All of the Argon Body range are infused with Moroccan argon oil which is rich in natural antioxidants

to deeply moisturise and nourish the skin. 

The shower cream foams up easily and only a small amount is needed so that you 

can have a pampered shower experience. 

The Body cream makes your skin feel soft, smooth and moisturised all day long. 

As for the hand and nail cream it moisturises and deep conditions your hands making them 

feel great. 

Derma V10 Body Butter

On Friday I told you about a budget stretch mark oil I have been using. 

Today I am sharing with you a body butter that I am in love with by the same 

lovely brand Derma V10. 

I first came across this body butter well over 6 years ago when I was over at my Nan's 

as it is one of her go to products for keeping your skin moisturised and smelling fab. 

When I moved to Leighton Buzzard I found that our local Wilko sold it and whenever my Nan came over she

would buy a pot or two. I also brought a pot on one occasion and loved it. 

I had actually forgotten all about this body butter as I've been trying out other brands 

for quiet awhile including The Body Shop Body Butters. 

When I was sent this item with a few other goodies I was thrilled as it will get me into using it 

again. 

The Derma V10 Body Butters are just as good as The Body Shop's ones if not better. 

The range comes in 8 wonderful different fragrances so that you can find one to suit you. 

I've found the Coconut Body Butter is thick, creamy and indulgent and glides onto your skin,

keeping you deeply moisturised, nourished and protected.

Its great applied daily after your bath or shower and smells good enough to eat.

I love that I also no longer need to wear perfume as the scent lasts all day long too. 

I am a huge fan especially as this is a great product for feeling a bit of luxury during pregnancy but saving the £s in process. 

Another great thing is the price at £1 for a 220ml pot whats not to love.

Derma V10 Rescue Oil

Since finding out that I am expecting our first child in December one of the first things I started doing was apply a stretch mark cream daily.

I have faded stretch marks already thanks to weight going up and down in the past which have now faded to a light silvery color which isn't that noticeable luckily. 

Now that I am going to be gaining weight quiet rapidly I am hoping that I wont get them too bad. 

I recently came across Rescue Oil from Derma V10 which is a budget friendly oil which helps to rescue your skin from scar tissue, blemishes, signs of ageing, stretch marks or sun dehydration. 

The oil's amazing formulation of peach kernal and almond oil, sweet primrose and vitamin E has remarkable hydrating effects on your skin and leaves it looking brighter, smoother and visibly healed. 

When using to prevent stretch marks which is my main reason for using the oil.

Have you ever tried rescue Oil?

Getting ready for the summer part one: Fitflop ready feet

 With Summer now approaching fast,it's time to get ourselves ready for 

for the warm days that we should hopefully get. 

So the first of my getting ready for summer posts I am going to show you how to get your
feet flipflop ready. 

For quite a few months now I have been living in boots and am pretty sure that you have been too. 
So when it comes to making me feet flipflop ready one of the first things I do is 
put them in a bowl of lovely warm water with some bubbles and sit back and relax. 
I would love a foot spa but at the moment I just use a regular spare washing up bowl. 

I then apply a good foot scrub such as Green People's sugar scrub which smooths and 
polishes my feet, getting rid of any dry skin. 
The Green people's sugar scrub leaves me feet feeling silky and soft 
while gently exfoliating and allowing moisturisers to penetrate more effectively. 

I then  dry my feet making sure I get in between my toes and then 

make sure my nails are nice and tidy and apply hard as nails coat

onto them to make them a little shiny and make sure they don't break as easily.

I then massage a body butter into my feet such as Green People's body butter

which is also an emergency repair balm so can be used all over the body.

The body butter is also a great non petroleum alternative to Vaseline.

Betrousse Absolutely Fabulous Box

 Last week I was excited to receive the new Betrousse Beauty Box. 

I have spent the last couple of days trying out the products that was in this lovely box. 

You can buy the box here for £19 however the contents of the box are worth a whopping £119. 

As you can see the items are as usual wrapped in lovely pink tissue paper. 

I love receiving beauty products from brands I've not heard of or 

never tried so it was fab to see such a lovely range

of items.

Helenere Intensive Serum

The Intensive Serum, £32 for 15ml is my least favourite item in the box. 

This is because in general I'm not that keen on face Serum's. 

I did however give the Serum a try and did find my skin to 

feel smooth and soft after applying and I did like that it 

is suitable for all skin types. 

The Serum has a complex of Edelweiss extract and

prevents a loss of moisture in your skin and is ideal for day/night nourishment. 

Helenere 24 hour Cream

The 24 hour cream retails at £30 for 30ml and is a moisturising cream 

with protective properties based on a pure and exclusive complex of extract of Edelweiss. 

The 24 hour cream leaves skin feeling fresh and enhances make up. 

I applied this after giving myself a mini facial over the weekend and 

found that it absorbs into your skin pretty fast leaving it smooth and soft. 

Duck Island Sensuous Shampoo

The Duck Island Sensuous Shampoo, £14.98 for 250ml is a luxury product

that I found from reading on other bloggers posts is used in some hotel chains. 

I love the cute little duck on the packaging and that it is in a pump bottle

which for me is a plus when it comes to high end products. 

The shampoo has such a lovely and refreshing scent and is easy to 

lather, after use my hair felt lovely and silky smooth.

Organic Surge Pure and Clean Facial Wash

The product I was most looking forward to using! 

The Organic Surge facial wash, £5.49 for 200ml 

is brand I have heard of but never tried before. 

I use a facial wash every day so was very happy to try out this one

that is new to me. 

The facial wash has 100% natural foaming action which rinses away

make up and impurities without stripping your skin of its natural moisture. 

I love this product, it smells so fresh and kept my skin so silky soft

and I can from time to time suffer from sensitive skin so it's 

really ideal for me. 

Spa Find Sculpted Silhouette Inch-wrap Firming Gel

I was also very excited about this product.

The Inch-wrap firming gel, £25.30 for 250ml contains a Iso-Slim Complex, a combination of natural slimming and fat-burning agents Caffeine, Carnitine and Spirulina,

 blended with Soy Isoflavones skin is tightened and lifted,

 and cellulite is visibly reduced with the aid of natural Ivy Extract, Dead Sea Minerals

 and Hyaluronic Acid, known as the key to the fountain of youth.

The gel has a pleasant scent and absorbs into your skin pretty quickly

 and has loads of benefits I have mainly tried this on my thighs but

am going to give this a go on my tummy area and arms too. 

Leor Facial Exfoliate Creme

A product I had mixed thoughts on before trying. 

The Facial exfoliate creme £11 for 100gr contains smooth pumice to 

gently exfoliate your face and neck area by removing dead skin cells. 

Before using I thought it maybe will turn out to be just another facial exfoliate 

but I liked that it is lavender scented. 

After use well my opinion is different, after use my skin felt so

smooth and fresh and I generally felt very relaxed due to the 

lovely lavender scent.  It's a product that is ideal when I 

have my weekly facial/pamper sessions as it makes me feel so

relaxed and makes my skin feel so good.

Review:St Grape Invisible Skin Massage Oil

Today we have the second product review from St Grape.

This time we have the Invisible Skin Massage Oil, £25 for 120ml. 

The Invisible Skin Massage Oil is packaged in a glass bottle

as you can see below. 

The item did have a little mishap in the post meaning 

that some of the oil had leaked.

St Grape  however have confirmed that they will be changing the packaging

in the final Christmas versions to prevent this from happening. 

The invisible skin massage oil uses oils that are pure and natural aroma oils

 distilled from plants, trees, roots and seeds.

Our skin on our body is just like the skin on our face and needs

to maintain a moist and smooth look. 

The oil can be used as an all over massage oil

but also as a reviving facial serum to promote a healthy balance between body and mind.

Direction:

Apply 3-5 drops (on face, only 1 drop) of this the Oil onto your skin.

 Gently massage, using upward, outward, and circular movements.

The body wash has a lovely fresh scent which is very foamy and made my skin feeling

fresh and clean like a daisy but also felt soft, smooth and hydrated. 

The Body Cream was just as fresh and made my skin feel 

lovely and moisturised after having my bath and lasted all day. 

From the Calming and relaxing range I was

sent the refining boy scrub, £18 and the intensive body oil, £14. 

The Body Scrub worked really well at buffing away at dull skin 

making me skin feel soft and cleansed. 

The Body Oil was great at keeping my skin hydrated and sunk into my skin

well, not feeling greasy at all. 

Pros:

- Free From  Parabens, Sulphates, Petrochemicals, 

Glycol, PEGs and Colour

- Natural Ingredients

-Great fresh and pretty packaging

- amazing scents

- Make fab gifts

- suitable for vegetarians and Vegans

Cons:

- A little expensive for everyday use but ideal for a treat

- The oil would have been better with the same kind of lid as the body wash and lotion

to save wastage.

Review: Inlight Firm and Tone Oil

Inlight Organic Skincare is a natural and organic skincare range

by skin guru, Dr Mariano Spiezia, MD.

They sell a range of natural, handmade beauty products in Cornwall

to make you look and feel like a goddess. 

The name Inlight  derives from their intention to encourage the natural beauty,

 the inner light, to blossom in each and every one of us. 

I tired the 100ml Organic firm and tone oil, £42.00 which is packed

in a lovely eye catching navy bottle with a silver lid. 

The bottle is then packaged in a matching navy

box where the instructions and info regarding the oil

is written inside on a bright floral background. 

The oil has a very refreshing scent and has a range of toning

oils including: 

intensely nourishing hazelnut oil, antioxidant green tea, stimulating ginger and purifying burdock. 

To use: 

Apply as much oil as you need into the palm of your hand, preferably after a hot

bath or shower.

 Massage the oil into the areas of your body that need toning, work the oil in a circler

motion, gradually increasing pressure to aid stimulation to the affected areas. 

Pros: 

- Is 100% Organic 

- No testing on animals

- Has a lovely fresh smelling scent 

- Isn't too greasy and sinks in skin fairly quickly

- works well my thighs seem a bit more toned. 

Cons:

- Cost £42 to me is a fairly high price to spend on just one beauty item

Overall thoughts: 

It's a fab product as I have found it to work rather well, I have high hopes for this

product and will be sad once I have used it all up. 

Review: Noble Isle Bath/shower gel and body lotion set

The bottles both contain 250ml , and smell wonderful. 

 Summer Rising is  an immaculate fragrance evoking the beginnings of summer,

 with extracts of toning elderflower 

and antioxidant-charged gooseberry with clean notes of orange blossom, 

moss and cut grass.

I have personally found these to be one of the best body care fragrances

I have tried in a long time.

The smell makes me think of long summer days, picnic's in the park

and trips out. 

Review: SoukSouk May Beauty Box

This evening I have another lovely beauty box to share with you. 

This time is the brand spanking new beauty box to the market 

SoukSouk! 

SoukSouk provide beauty boxes where all of the products are green/organic. 

The May box is only the second box so far and I am thrilled to be able

to do a review for you guys to see!

These boxes are a bit like some of the other beauty boxes out there with the fact that you need

to subscribe. 

They have 4 packages to choose from: 

1 month: £12 + P&P

3 months: £36 + P&P

6 months: £60 + P&P

and 

12 months: £120 + P&P.

So here is what is in the May beauty Box

First of all the Inika eyebrow pencil, £13.50. 

This brow pencil contains certified organic ingredients and is

100 % vegan. 

 This brow pencil can be used as any eyeliner for those with paler skin. 

 

As you can see this is kind of a dark colour on me and since I have very pale skin,

I do feel that this would be more suited to use this one as an eyeliner. 

I would be interested in seeing how there lighter shade one would be like

on me. 

Secondly we have Green People Body Lotion and shower gel.

As you may know I am a huge fan of Green People products 

and in fact did a give-away last December of the full sized versions of these

very products, so this was great for me to be able to try them myself.

This next product is very exciting its the Dr Bronner’s Magic Soap 18-in-1 Hemp Rose, prices start at £1.50.

I love how this product is multi-purpose and can be used in 18 different ways!

Last of all we have BalmBalm lip balm, £3.50. 

100% organic and 100% natural these lip balms come in three

scents Rose Geranium, Tea Tree and Unscented. 

 I received the Tea Tree one and I also found out 

this can also be used on your body and even your feet!

Overall the beauty box has a lovely range of items and its great to see 

a beauty box that has green/organic items only.

Review: Betrousse Beauty Box Glitz and Glamour

You may have recently seen these boxes doing there rounds on quite 

a few blogs recently. 

Now here is my little review I must say I was excited to receive this box of goodies. 

First of all I would like to start off by saying that Betrousse Beauty Boxes are a tad different 

than other beauty boxes that you may have heard of. 

They are different in the fact that you can see online what is in the box

before you buy.

Each of the boxes contain approx between 4-7 full sized beauty item's 

and the boxes are worth between £72- £109 but you pay between £10-£19 

depending on which box you want.

So onto the box!

The Betrousse box has lovely and bright pink and white

lettering with a black background, and is the average size of a shoe box.

On opening the box you will be greeted with some lovely 

pink tissue paper and sticker with Betrousse logo on keeping

all the items neatly tucked in together. 

You will also get this little card telling you all about the items in the box

and a little letter on the back telling you about how to enjoy your 

beauty ritual. 

Now the exciting bit! 

Here is all the lovely items that you can get in the 

Glitz and Glam box.

 First of all we have from the Brand Fair Naturally 

the Mango & Safflower Body Moisturiser, £3.99. 

This lovely body lotion smells lush and is made with fair-trade 

mango extract and cane sugar which is known for their 

conditioning and moisturising properties. 

Then we have Jason normalising shampoo £7.29 .

Which cleanses hair with natural, gentle surfactants

 whilst balancing the pH levels of the scalp with Rosewater and Chamomile. 

This also smells fab!

Moving onto the G-1 exfoliating Facial cleanser for boys and girls by Benta Berry  , £14.99. 

a face treatment that is made with 100% natural active ingredients.

Make believe shimmer lip gloss, £10. 

Is a shimmer lipgloss that is meant to enhance your tan. 

Last of all we have the Tonifying oil with organic Peppermint essential oil

by TULECOS, £33. 

This oil is for those who love to have a massage without the greasy feel.

This aimed to use on your feet!

I will say I am very impressed in this beauty box as I've never heard 

of any of these brands before!

So its really nice to try something a little different.
