AD| SS20 Swimwear Trends with Protest

*Collaborative post

Spring is starting to arrive which means summer won't be that far behind. Hopefully we will get some lovely weather here in the UK, I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway.  Today I get to share with you some of the wonderful swimwear trends for SS20 with Dutch brand Protest.

So if you are staying in the UK or heading abroad this year there are wide range of Bikinis, swimsuits and more available from Protest.

About Protest
Protest are a Dutch brand who have been around since 1996 who specialise in both swimwear and ski wear. They have such a wide range of different swimwear products online, available in different styles that you are spoilt for choice and are bound to find something that is suitable for you.

The SS20 collection
The SS20 swimwear collection features a wide range of different styles of swimwear in bright and bold colours and patterns. They also have more subtle colours available if that's more your thing too.

Today I am going to chat about 4 of the  different swimwear styles available for women. I'm not an expert in swimwear to be honest as I'm definitely not body confident and I've never actually had the confidence to wear a bikini.

1. The Swimsuit
The swimsuit is what I've always opted for when it comes to swimwear. It's a great option for women who are like me and just not that comfortable with the idea of showing their tum. The great thing is you can get so many beautiful colours and prints that you can still wear swimwear and feel more relaxed and comfortable. I tend to opt for ones that have extra padding in the cups as I need the support.

2. The Tankini
The tankini is a great option as it's in between wearing a swimsuit and a bikini.
I remember wearing one, one holiday when I was 15. It's great if you want to feel like u are wearing a bikini but feel anxious about showing all around the pool/beach.

3. The Push-up Bikini
If I ever get the confidence to wear a bikini I'd opt for the push-up. The push-up bikini is ideal for those that need a little more support and give you a great shape. Push-up bikinis are more of a structured fit and also have extra padding.

4. The Triangle Bikini
The triangle bikini is a great option for those of you with a smaller chest. They tend to be the most fashionable option but not the most practical especially if you are into being active on holiday. I certainly wouldn't play volleyball wearing one.

Now I've spoken about women's swimwear I can't forget the men can I? Protest also sell swimwear for men and the most popular option are boardshorts. Protest have many different styles and designs available for the SS20 season.
