Lush Haul #1

Hiya everyone,  so recently I decided to have a look at what Lush have to offer.
I've not brought anything in lush for quiet a while so after browsing online and finding
a lot of products that I wanted to try I decided to purchase a select few.

I picked out non Christmas items as I am thinking of doing another order closer to the time.
The items I have picked out are all products I have never used before.
I'm not sure how long they have been out for as not been in Lush for ages or looked online.

So I have gone for three bubble bars, one bath bomb, a face mask and a shower jelly.

Out of the lovely range of bath bombs I picked out this very colorful one which is called
The experimenter, the experimenter is vibrant in color and has popping candy inside with a fair trade vanilla scent. This caught my eye not just because it is colorful but also because of it being in a hexagon.
It's quiet a large bath bomb too so I am hoping I will be able to get at least two uses out of it as well.

Next up is this very bright and pink flamingo bubble bar.
The pink flamingo is described as a fruity cocktail and contains rose wood, ylang ylang macadamia nut oil and refreshing bergamot.
I love that this is on a stick I do love bubble bars on sticks as it makes them more easier to use again.
This bubble bar can be used up five times.

Rose Jam bubbleroon, looks like a macaroon but is mixture of scents including rose.
I'll be in pink bubble heaven.
There are also do another two different bubbleroon's but this one stood out for me more.

Sparkly pumpkin is a perfect treat for this time of year with Halloween coming up.
I love how cute it looks but mainly love that it's quiet a citrus scent which is ideal for
cold nights. I used this amazing bubble bar as part of my Friday night pamper treat and really enjoyed using it.
There is nothing better than a Friday night pamper session.

The refresher is a citrus secented shower jelly which I love as like the name its refreshing. I am going to try this in the shower during the week it's recommended that it is stored in your fridge or freezer so that the cold will get your blood pumping.
Last of all I purchased the "Don't look at me" face mask.
Like the sparkly pumpkin I used this Friday night as a pamper treat.
If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen my face mask selfie.
I love the vived blue color and it smells really fresh.
The face mask contains ground rice to gently scurb away dry skin.
This is great for me as it does two jobs in one so II didn't have to use a seperate facial scrub.

Have you purchased anything in Lush recently?
I'd love to know your favourite lush products.

For my last of my Christmas 2014 Gift Guides we have some Stocking fillers.

*Glazed Apple Bath Jelly
Sink into a cloud of bubbles with this sweet scented glazed apple bath jelly from the Body Shop.
Scoop into warm running water for the ultimate  festive bath time indulgence.

£10

*Lip and Cheek Stain Doll
This cute lip and cheek stain is a fab special edition to add to someones stocking.
This dual-purpose liquid stain gives a natural-looking, rosy glow to lips and cheeks.
I love the doll packaging!

£10

*Personal Planner

I am a huge fan of Personal Planner and love their new Giraffe design.
The planner is ideal for keeping yourself organised and is fab as
you can personalize it however you like.
From your favorite photo on the front to adding birthdays and special occasions to the calendar
this makes a fab stocking filler.

*Personalised Chocolate Bar
Getting Personal sell a range of personalized chocolate bars for every occasion
I recently received a personalized bar for me and the hubby.
We chose the snow penguin design.
Each bar comes with a full color wrapper that's personalized with your name
at the front and then a little message on the back.
Inside the wrapper is a foil covered 100g bar of melt in the mouth milk chocolate.

Lush Wand Bubble Bar
I received this bubble bar as a gift a few years ago for Christmas and love it!
It's on my Christmas wishlist for this year as well.
I had to add this to the list as its such a fab little stocking filler that smells
of marshmallows yum.

*The New Rubik’s 3X3

This is a new improved version of the original Rubik’s Cube where you cannot peel of the stickers and cheat! The Rubik’s Cube is the classic colour-matching puzzle that’s a great mental challenge at home or on the move. Turn and twist the sides of the cube so that each of the six faces only has one colour. Over “43 Quintillion” (that’s 43 with 18 zeros to you and me) moves are possible with this original 3x3 Cube, but there is only one solution! With lots of practice you can solve it in under 10 seconds!

*The Rubik’s Void
Void is a HOLE new puzzle, with a HOLE new challenge. The Void has missing centre cubes that make this puzzle harder than an original 3x3 Rubik’s cube to solve. This cube is truly amazing to behold, leaving your brain void of answers to the question: “how can that Rubik’s Cube have a hole in the middle and still work?

Items with * have been gifted to me for the purpose of this post

Lush Father Christmas Bath Bomb

For Christmas my Nan got me a range of bath bombs from Lush
On new year eve I decided to use the second half of my Father Christmas
bath bomb.

I wish I had taken a photo of before I cut this in half
and had my first bath with it as you would be able to see
the father Christmas design.

As you can see from this photo the bath bomb is a lovely
light orange colour and once cut open inside is
a lovely green colour (very festive).

This bath bomb is a Christmas limited edition so is no longer on
sale but I am so glad I received this.

I love the green colour which reminds me of Christmas trees
the orangey smell is lovely and not over powering
and on using this bath bomb I noticed the lovely
glitter bits which is a little of a pain to clean up but
makes the bath pretty.

As well as Orange flower this bath bomb
also has  Mandarin oil which gives this bath
bomb its zesty and sweet smell.

The above photo gives you a sneeky peak at the lovely green
colour.
Unfortunately I was unable to get a good photo of the glitter bits
as my camera wanted to make it look all blurry.

I hope that Lush sells this bath bomb next Christmas time :)

Lush Twilight Bath Bomb

At the same time I got the Snow Fairy Magic wand Bubble Bar
(see review here)
I also got the Twilight Bath Bomb I have wanted this bath bomb for a long time now.

I always if possible try and cut my bath bombs in half so that
I can get more uses out of them and this was no different.
As you can see in the photo below once I had cut it in half
the inside is a lovely what I tend to call powder blue colour.
I love it when the inside of a bath bomb is a different colour then the
outside.

I used this bath bomb on Christmas Day morning
even though the bath bomb is aimed for use in the evening.
The aim of the bath bomb is for when you are struggling
to sleep so has lavender oil to help you wind down.

I did find that I felt more relaxed after using this
which was fab as Christmas is meant to be a day of
fun and relaxation.

This bath bomb smells wonderful and I really noticed the
lavender scent. I could also smell some other scents
but was unsure what they were until I looked up more
on this bath bomb and found that as well as
lavender the twilight bath bomb also have notes
of caramel and malt.

The photo below doesn't really give this bath bomb any justice
of how fab the colours are, but I can tell you
that it does look near enough like the images on
Lush's website.

I did take some more photo's to show this however the
images turned out blury :(

The Twilight bath bomb retails at £3.20
have you ever tried the Twilight bath bomb?

Lush Snow Fairy Magic wand Bubble Bar

Last Christmas I was given a gift set which contained the Snow Fairy Showergel.
I fell in love with candy floss scent and colour and knew that I would have to buy it again. I was however unaware that the did a bubble bar version until now that is.

I love the whole idea that its a star shaped and on a stick so its easy to swish it around your bath tub. The snow fairy magic wand bubble bar once swished around whilst I was running my bath left me with plenty of bubbles as you can see in the photo below
and also is a lovely girly pink colour.

The smell of this bubble bar is wonderful and I will definitely be purchasing this again.

This bubble bar retails at £4.95 and last for approx 5-8 baths so is worth price.

Have you every tried the snow fairy shower gel or bubble bar?
If so what do you think?
